Hello =)

I tend to watch lots of different genres of anime..I'm a bit flaky in that respect, but my favourite's will always be those with great storylines and characters...which I seem to get attached to lol.  On that note my favourite characters ever include L (deathnote), Vegeta (DBZ), Dio (Last Exile...grrrr Delphine), Spike and Ed (both Cowboy Bebop).  I also enjoy Studio Ghibli films...especially Howl's moving Castle *love* strangely I hated the book =S

I would suggest Gentlemen's Alliance Cross (Shinshi Domei Kurosu). Aside from Full Moon o Sagashite, I really liked this manga series from her. I'm hoping that an anime adaptation will be made from this series in the future, although no news of this has appeared yet. :D

I definitely preferred the manga for Full Moon o Sagashite, but that's primarily because I'm an absolute fan of Arina Tanemura, the manga artist and author responsible. I really like her art style and character design. It's also one of the few series where I read the manga concurrently with the anime, at the same time. I don't know, whilst I really liked the anime series, I just preferred the way the manga foretold everything. Admittedly, I'm not reading much manga nowadays, mainly because I'm finding it hard to find time. The time I do have is centered on anime.

And yes, if you liked the first Ghost in the Shell movie, which you have, Stand Alone Complex is a must. I loved both seasons. :D
