I like all your post about teaching in Japan, very interesting.
I'm completely toying with the idea, but I was just wondering if having a master's degree would change your employment options as I will be completing a master's degree in International Relations from Penn State University in December. Not to toot my own horn, but I have great references (2 former ambassadors, one was on the U.S. national security council) and a high GPA. My Japanese is virtually non-existent. My teaching experience is limited to basically teaching Jewish teenagers in the summer about U.S.-Israeli relations. Is English the only subject that someone like me could ever think of teaching?
Anyways, just wondering about possible employment options. I'm somewhat considering taking a year off to do something new and interesting. I probably will eventually go get my phd in international affairs after a year off.
I know diversity is basically non-existent, but any Jews in Japan? A nice Japanese Jewish girl would be nice =D
What are your favorites animes? You should come back and add a list so everyone can see!

Yeah man, you have a good Xmas as well. Stay safe.
Just rolling with the punches over here in Seattle. Preparing for a wee bit of Xmas cheer, going to Sister's for the holidays. (lives 2 hours away)
Also preparing to spend first x-mas together with my wifey.
I was wondering why I have not seen your enlightened posts on the forums. It makes sense now. I wish you luck on those future career decisions. I too, am starting school for Network Admin.
A very Merry Christmas to you, be safe heading back.
