Hello! My name is Rafael and I'm an anime fan (thats right I said it!). I started watching anime back in 2007, but I've been a fan long before, just didn't really know it was called "anime". There are only but few things you should know about me, if you really want to. I love 3D design, video edditing as well as computer games. I work as a community moderator for esports and study to become a game designer. I'm neither a cat person nor a dog person, I love them both equally. I keep very active, swimming, basketball, absolutely love the gym. In the cold winter months I enjoy reading adventure and fantasy books, as well as watching animes (duh) and tv shows. Well, that's just my opinion really. This year hasn't been too great. We've had some good things, like Jojo and Yuri Kuma Arashi, but otherwise, I've been disappointed. Everyone loved "Death Parade" but to me it was just a generic rehash of stuff done years ago, only with crappy characters.
I just watch anything I feel like watching really. If there's nothing good out for the current season, I just go back and watch older titles or stuff I skipped over before. The good thing about Anime is there's always stuff to watch.
Yeah, childhood shows are always good because of nostalgia. But even then, a lot of my favourite shows are older shows I picked up years later when I got older. Also, while DBZ may not be as good as it was back then, it's still got a lot of historical impact and it pretty much helped mold the modern day Shounen genre. Without it, my favourite Anime "Hunter x Hunter" wouldn't exist.
Don't worry, I understand. Sounds busy! I'm busy too. I just started a new job testing video games, so I've been busy too. I've mostly been spending time with my girlfriend, watching Anime and working. Not much else.

Maybe you should start watching around late October? Luffy's bound to defeat Doffy by then, I hope.

As for my favourite anime... I'd say it's Mirai Nikki right now. Haven't watched much anime recently because I'm busy taking care of things irl.
