I started my trip to otakudom in the summer of 2008 but I dabbled a bit in my early years. I try to keep an open mind on things to watch to counteract my narrow tastes. The vast majority of my anime is watched as it airs (or a few weeks later if I'm behind and busy) though I do occasionally find a show that isn't airing and marathon it. I do drop alot but I consider that a step above deciding not to watch it based of off the description.
