I became an anime fan just before 2000. The shows that got me hooked were Dragonball Z, Gundam Wing, and Sailor Moon; I know not the greatest anime out there....but its over 10 years later and I'm still here:P
Oh.....a shout out.....if any anime fans in Southern Ontario haven't been to AnimeNorth - GO!!!! It's an absolute blast!!!!
My ratings generally follow this format:
1 - Totally not worth it
2 - Some parts are decent, but nothing I'd watch again
3 - Solid anime/manga
4 - Great repeatable anime
5 - Awesome, amazing, WOW!! Watched/read it multiple times (most likely own it)
