I will admit I put this off longer then I should've but whatever. This is horrible and not entertaining in the least. Pros: Nothing Cons: Basic animation, nothing new, only two voice actors. Only two voice actors for everyone is the problem the problem is who they are Buggy and Bon Kurei two of the most annoying in the series. Ugh, not even worth the 5 min watch was very disappointed in this featurette.See full review
I'll update this when the show is finished airing, because I think the overall quality and score will depend a lot on how they tie up the plot and reveal the truth of it all (aka 'Kiznaiver'). So far I'm really liking it. This is also my kind of show, filled with character interactions and some extreme scenarios. By episode 8 I think it's still going solid with development. Story 7/10: Like I previously mentioned, there's a whole lot of mystery about this whole 'kiznaiver' thing, and while little things have been shown a lot of plot is left to be resolved, including the MC past, though there's plenty of... When I first started watching anime, I was recommended this by a friend, and I instantly thought "Hmm, looks kinda crap". I watched it, and it's my second favourite anime to this day! Amazing animation, amazing sound, you feel like you really get to know the characters, and its got an awesome story. The only reason i'm giving the story a 8/10 and not a 10/10 is for the way it ended. *SPOILERS FOR THE REST OF THE REVIEW* The thing that put me off of the story is the fact they were meant to take over a massive amount of land, and I thought "Oh my god, I love this series so i'm glad its going... I personally think that Soul Eater is the best series to show to an anime-newbie. The resound why is because that everything about the series is typical anime, and colorful at the same time. It shows what anime is like for better and for worse. Everything in the series including the music, the character, the story, the fights and the small cool ideas the show are build up by, are all very colorful. It makes the series interesting and enjoyable. One thing I like about soul Eater is that you have so many main characters with unique- and funny personalities. Another thing that I like about the... So if you want to watch something that has no substance, you have come to the right place! The two main girls are a wild, crazy one with an obssession with haikus and a fear of kites (bird not a kite on a string) and the other is a bland slightly more serious but really doesnt show it. The story thinks it is there but it's just the crazy girls wish to do something with 5-7-5 after reading a thing about pancakes. Animation wise its nice, not terrible and doesn't go crazy with weird reactions. Overall its kinda bland, only upside was the temptation of girl on girl with the 3rd character who had a thing... It's just another adventure oriented anime with many borrowings from legendary FMA. It has nothing special except for very annoying main character and primitive jokes with some elements of ecchi which looks here are ridiculous because there much more ecchie than comedy, totally unbalanced. Story: It's plain and simple, awful boring start - dropped anime for first time, predictable overextended ending. Let's gather a party of heroes to defeat an evil, that's it. Though, there were interesting presentations of new heroes and some little stories were good. Animation: Not bad at... See full review
I heard everyone talk about how this is such a sad movie. I thought it'd be longer than 45 minutes, but those 45 minutes managed to thaw my cold heart and reduce me to tears. It is 3 in the morning and I am having an emotional breakdown because I just COULD NOT handle the feels of this movie... This is a beautiful, beautiful movie.See full review
I didn't really want my first review on this site to be for this show but oh well. Here goes. Look, I'll admit it. I'm still not sure if I like the manga series of this or not. I read multiple volumes of it and never came up with the answer. But what kept me reading even while I was ambivalent towards it was how strong the dichotomy was between the cuteness of Donyatsu and friends and the starkness of the world that surrounded them. The cover of the first volume with a cute donut cat in front and a skeleton in the background perfectly illustrates this and is what convinced me to try it. What made me... See full review
There is a lot of really good music here which remains memorable, however that is the only great part about this anime. The first 2 episodes basically spoil what will happen in episode 10. Then from Ep 3-9 it winds back in time to deliver the story of the characters, and how it became this way. From about Ep 5+ is where it gets mildly interesting. For being tagged with horror, supernatural, demons, and action which would describe what should be an anime that I would love, it really didn't focus on those tags much beyond action. The demons looked really out of place and didn't fit in art wise except... See full review

SORRY FOR SPOILERS GUYS! Angel Beats is by far one of my favourite anime's!! The story is great, i love how its set in the middle life it is great! And not to mention, the main guy only went for ONE girl!! Honestly i hardly see anime's with guys going for one! Loved this!See full review
In 11eyes the story kind of started off with instant action, as much as that i good in msot cases it just kinda seemed a little overboard to start it so soon honestly, and not explaining it kinda just got confusing until like half way when we finally find out what the heck is going on haha, but overall really good!See full review
Here a think about the Future Diary (well that’s what I have come to call it anyway): It's incredibly well-made. Everything from the characters to the story and the basic ideas is so well written that this has become one of the best anime series I have ever seen. For even though that I normally do not watch this kind of anime anymore, has it proven that a good anime has a way to reach out to everyone. There are many things I could say about Future Diary. So to prevent me from blabbering on and on, about what I think about the series will I only cover 2 things: The characters, the... See full review
So here we are on Season 2 of Haitai Nanafa and boy is it an improvement on s1. Story: The improvement on comedy and the keeping more to the same theme throughout episodes actually made such an improvment to the overall enjoyment of the show. Animation: Their budget is stupid and the person that funds them is insane. Sound: Two points here for Mario jump plink, rest of it works well for the show, not much of an improvement over s1. Characters: Doubled it's points from season 1 for one character's interactions with others. Overall: Well this shocked me, honestly it did, i expected some... See full review
Not typically my cup of tea when it comes to genres but here i go! Story: There isn't one, theres a brief moment where they try to show off this is the story but it lies, it's a collection of non connected short episodes so the whole plot boils down to, "here is some fairies they do silly things and we laugh". Animation: Holy crap the stuff they do in this, there is not one fixed style in any episode, out of nowhere you can expect to see something with the quality of Fate in a silly little short show and it amazes me beyond possibilty. Sound: Like animation it does have amazing sound... See full review
Death Parade upsets me not because of how bad it was, but because of how good it could have been. When I initially watched the first episode of this series, I was extremely excited to watch the rest. The ideas were original and fresh (to me) and I actually went so far as to say to my girlfriend, "Hey you have to watch this show, it's awesome!" Unfortunately by the end of the series, that opinion had flip flopped, and I told her not to bother out of fear of overhyping it. Story- Honestly, Death Parade's story wasn't horrible. I'm not super quick to jump on the hate wagon and start... See full review
I dropped this anime at 6 episdoes, so this is a reivew of only the first 6 episodes. To be honest, after watching the first episdoe this seemed like it was going to be a great anime. But as the anime progressed the story didn't really follow on clearly from each episode, and the plot was quite disjointed. The animation and design is nice and colourful, but the characters aren't likeable and are very one-dimensional in terms of personality and thought behind the action they take. The biggest let down was the fact that the plot was all over the place. I very rarely drop anime completely, but I don't... See full review
It was very well put together, considering it was only 60 minutes in length (approximately 3 episodes) minus credits at the end. It was not the most amazing thing ever, but is definately quality for this genre. I would recommend to anyone who likes boys love (aka shounen ai, not yaoi) or romance. Hopefully knowing that the two become a couple is not a spolier because it happens within the first 1/4 of the movie. Story 7/10: I actually liked the way the story was seperated out. It was cut into seasons (spring, summer vaction etc.), where each chunk had its own issue for the couple, a climax in... See full review

It starts as rather peculiar, and the animation can seem very unusual at first, but the story ads up to it. The characters and their interactions are more than enough to give the overall movie a 9/10 or even a 10/10. What more to add up is the fact that the way the characters interact isn't typical to our basic "yaoi" series or movie. They share their feelings, hug, and support each other, have conflicts, but don’t force each other to do things they don’t want, and show interest in each other. I just love that the love interest isn't really forced into the relationship or forced to... See full review
This is a cute, fluffy show about a young boy who moves in with his mother's brother because his mother died due to an illness. The guy he moves in with happens to be a quirky and introverted, and since the boy himself is strange with a high sense of duty, he becomes the maid of the house he moved into. The plot is that simple. That being so there was a number of directions that this show could have gone in. Considering the Shoujo genre, it kept as light as possible. Which was one of it's main flaws. I may update this review if I feel it is necessary after the show finishes. If you don't want to read all... See full review
Overall this is a light hearted, yaoi/ boy love rom com that I would recommend to all the fan girls and fanboys out there who just wanna watch some cheesy romance that isn't too sickening or heartbreaking. Good story, the sound was okay, I enjoyed the intro ss it was adorable as well as fun but nothing too special about the sound that made it stand out to me. The characters were really good in this, nothing original but enjoyable to watch. Despite being ten episodes and moving quickly, the romance didn't feel pushed or rushed which was really important to me. Basically the plot is there is theirs... See full review

I read the first volume of the manga, then jumped into the anime. Despite what the opening and ending music might have you think after the first 3 episodes, this anime's story really throws you for a loop.
It goes from being a buddy adventure to restore something wished away, to a mystery filled with twists and turns with feelings that really drive deep.
My only real dislike is the opening and ending music.
Other than that, the ending was mostly satisfying, love the characters, beautiful animation.
Definitely a recommended watch.
I first learned about Star Blazers/ Yamato from my dad, who grew up on the American one in the 70s. When I learned about this reboot, I knew I had to watch it.
I was totally blown away. AND THIS IS THE SAME STUDIO THAT MADE TO LOVE-RU!!!???
The animation and art is phenomenal!! I loved how they preserved many of the original 70s sound effects (though some of the background music felt cliche'd but managed to work).
The opera-drama writing brings you into the deeper conflicts of war, where neither side is an ultra good or bad, the characters are relateable and unique.
This anime needs so... See full review
I will admit this maybe higher then the average persons view on it as I am a huge Zoro fanboy and this was a good movie. Santa Luffy is hiding which makes this movie better. Overall I would say this anime is definitely one to watch if you liked fairy tail. It definitely had that feel to it with the friend ships that were close, the romances and the character development for the most part was good. There are these people and they are part of a group called the night raid and are originally portrayed to be veil but then you realise that they are the ones who are saving the capital unlike the prime minister who is ruining it all and making everyone miserable. Let's start with the most obvious things, being this is in no way shape or form similar to Erased or Stiens;Gate anyone who says so lied. It doesn't have great characters like Stiens;Gate or a mystery to solve like Erased yes it has flaws but is it bad? No but it was overhyped. Now onwards and upwards. After reading the synopsis I wasn't sure there was any reason why I should watch this, I was expecting to find it boring and clichèd. So it was a surprise when it actually turned out to be quite good. It's entertaining and mildly amusing, with really good animation and drawings. So if you like detective/mystery stories, you could give this a try. Obviously there are some major flaws regarding the plot and character development - or lack thereof - which is why I rated it as I did, giving it a 5.5/10. The story is about Sakurako, a rather eccentric osteologist (FYI: Osteologists identify... See full review
This did a really good job capturing the heart and soul of the Hyperdimension Neptunia world. It is important to note that this anime is aimed at people familiar with the Hyperdimension universe or at the very least, reasonably familiar with console gaming (Lowee = Nintendo [Wii] / Leanbox = Xbox / Lastation = Playstation / Planeptune = Sega [Neptune]). If you are not, then a lot of the references, humor, and story will be missed leaving you with an empty shell. This is made for gamers essentially. It may still be an an entertaining form of comedy and action though. The anime covers the general... See full review
I was dissapointed with this anime, provably because it was so overrated, I went in hoping for more than what it delivered. Setting aside the rehashed trope (humanity plays turret defense to swarms of aliens) there we're few good character. This isn't a spoiler because I won't say who, but so many people keep getting killed off for the duration. This is a 25 episode anime and I feel after episode 5, they made little to no progress in achieving their goals. It was mostly filled with events I care little for. I'm not going to go as far as to say I hated the anime, more like I nothing it. The plot was... See full review
Story If you are into Anime Horror or mysteries, I think you should give Ghost Hunt a try. Not because it's among the scariest of what the Genres have to offer but because it has some extremely emersive stories. It manages to pull off a more tame Horror in a very easy to swallow way while still remaining interesting to the seasoned fans. This is one of those anime that you can watch with anyone really without worrying about them running away. The Story is of a episodic nature but each case spans more than one episode. I usually don't write reviews for animes, but this is a different case. This anime right here is a brilliant piece of work. The characters and the art are the strongest point of this anime. The main character, Oreki, reminds me of Hikki from "My teen romantic comedy". Oreki is a perfect main character very realistic portrayal of a lazy high school student. We get bored of seeing the same old goodie goodie characters so this was a wonderful switch from the norm. I would go into more detail about the rest but I'm trying to make this a quick review. The art is beautiful, reminding me of "A Lull... See full review
Please note: The following review contains spoilers. However, I don’t willingly divulge into plot points as to ruin viewer experience—plot points included are part of a natural “flow” of analysis of discrepancies (along with the vital strengths) of Tokyo Ghoul. This review includes both the original 2014 season Tokyo Ghoul and its 2015 successor Tokyo Ghoul √A. Both seasons were animated by Studio Perriot—a studio that I admittedly have a soft spot for their invaluable work on animating Yu Yu Hakusho and Great Teacher Onizuka. The two seasons were released in 2014... See full review
While looking like a disaster series from the outside. Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 is actually a great Slice of Life anime that does one of the best jobs at conveying real to life people and emotions. Story - 7/10 The story is actually as simple as it gets in the anime world. Mirai and Yuuki are two young siblings who have a typical relationship you'd expect from an eight year old boy and twelve year old girl, while Yuki adores his older sister, she finds him to be quite annoying at times, as she see's herself as an adult and him as a little child. The image that comes to mind when reading the title is a characters in a school setting with lots of random comedy, the typical episode themes, some unsolved romance all hovering around a weak plot mainly meant for entertainment and nothing else. If that was what this show truly was, it wouldn't score higher than a six in my book. Obviously this isn't what I imagined. This applies to both seasons. To start off with, there is some romance and some comedy, but that is not the focus. The main character is pessimistic, at least that is one way to describe him. this is by far the sweetest romance story i have ever seen. its pure lets the characters get to know each other and learn what they love about each other, ironic since they have been engaged since they were like 5 and just didnt know it (on her part anyway).
