interesting the way they humanize each video game character,
the sad thing is just that we all know who wins in the end.
it is weirdly kind of perverted though, this is honestly made for video game know-it-alls. Surprisingly there's also no conclusion for us in america, you'll only be able to find 3 out of 10 episodes online.
F*** this movie... I wasted 2 hours of my life that I wil never get back. It was such a waste of time. The story was bad, it was not funny, the music is copy and paste from the show and all the chartacters are completely stupid. DON'T WATCH THIS MOVIE.See full review
Since 2009, I haven't watched Pokemon for a while. The last Pokemon I watched was Diamond and Pearl series. I have watched Pokemon since I was a kid, although there were some episodes I watched and some I didn't watch. In 2016, I went back to Pokemon since I really liked it. I watched some parts of the Best Wishes series and watched four full episodes of it, but I never finished much of it. I saw some parts of the XY series and some full episodes, I really liked it so I decided to watch all of the XY series full episodes and it was great. I watch the Pokemon series in English Dub. The XY series is the best... See full review
I'm honestly unsure if people have something against this anime and are biased against it, or if they've had strokes, because all of the negative reviews for this anime seem to miss the point--whether by choice or, again, by medical malady... Story: 7/10 Momo Adachi is a put-together, responsible, athletic high schooler with bleached hair and dark skin due to all of the sun she got as a lifeguard. She's not the most popular girl in her class, so her only sort-of ally is a frenemy named Sae. Momo is self-conscious about her skin because she was told that her crush since junior high doesn't like girls... See full review
Watchout ! Review made by French guy ! I will try to be objective.... Yeah, wish me good luck.
Here's some existential dilemma. It's easy to create a more or less good constructed review about a bad anime. I made some review about what I tought was more that ordinary or a waste, but never about an anime I love. Why ? Because it's hard. It's hard because you can't just review something you love, you have to analyse it, savor it, and here isn't the place. Make a review about something that is good for ourself is too difficult, because saying it's good or a masterpiece is just like saying something you... See full review
As both a fan of Yaoi and someone who doesn't usually enjoy dramas, I will say off the bat that I enjoyed watching this anime. I watched it over the course of a few days on YouTube (subed) while fighting off a cold. That being said, I will explain my rating and reveiw in a logical, straightforward way. I will say, however, if this seems like your thing, this anime is bound to kill you in one way or another (through sadness and surprise both). And I am a harsh critic so take the actual ratings with a grain of salt, and my own insights/thoughts more seriously. This is not an anime for everyone, and it's not a... See full review
Watching the 1st episode it was pretty good, but as i progressed into the series it went down hill. I don't feel as if there is a strong character development as there is a strong story.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
After Benio lost her legs and pretty much just copied what Rokuro did, It kind of ruined the series for me, Just my opinion that if that didn't happen and they gave Benio something else that is special the series would have been a lot better.
the voice acting is ok and there is ALOT of... See full review
This could have been a great anime with awesome characters because the potential is most definetely there; if it had just taken itself a bit more seriously. As it is, it's a nice watch. The story is about a yakuza heiress who has always dreamed of being a teacher. She gets hired for her very first job in a highschool with a poor reputation whose students are mostly troubled and defiant delinquents with difficult family situations. Obviously, the troubled teen who is a match for our protagonist does not simply exist. She's a tough lady with a very kind heart and the story is all about her bonding with... See full review
the ending spoils it all! I would have given it a 9/10 if the ending was anywhere closer to good! I enjoyed the first half episodes very much, the characters were fun and youthful, you really enjoy watching. The show started with an unrealistic theme but that's ok but if can't end it well what's the point? The worst thing was Chizuru Hishiro was also a relife subject..I mean what the hell.iit spoils everything,if she was actually a high school girl that would have been interesting and challenging but what happened was predictably stupid..Worse Ending ever! And most importantly they don't what's next for Arata... See full review
You know SAO? Well keep it in mind. Story begins with main character Rokuro being disliked by everyone, even though he has a good heart. He can't make friends becouse of the childhood trauma - classic. One day a girl falls out the sky (literally) and Rokuro helps her out. She also seems to have hard time with social stuff - guess what. Childhood trauma... We find out Rokuro is a powerfull exorcist, who is buthurt about some friends being killed and doesn't want to fight anymore. In some lame ass transition he starts helping out as an exorcist again. Why? Hell if I know. Reason too stupid to remember... See full review
Right, it's confession time for me. If you have been reading my reviews than you may have noticed that I tend to rip the anime a new one. There is a reason for this though and it has to do with the fact that I can't turn my brain off when watching anime. I can't ignore the stupid shown in the anime and this is a problem as most anime are very stupid indeed. In this case I'm not talking about a 90 pound girl catching a multi-ton cruise missile and throwing it back. Yes, it is stupid but it is a stupid that I'll allow. It's anime. Things like this are normal here and I'm pretty much fine with it. It annoys... See full review

Based off memory. Also, spoilers. Mature language. Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to True Incest. What? So my boss is telling me that isn't the name of this show... The fuck if it isn't! Good 'ol Onii-chan is a high schooler, and he finds out his sister is a closet perv and otaku. The two then spend more time together and meet new friends, so, yeah. Nothing too special other than good bonds. Animation was okay. I did not like the opening or ending. Characters were alright. Blondie tsundere, an alright ... See full review
The story continues exactly where season 1 ended. The flow really changes and this season plays out much more like a game and military themed mix. Think of it as police and military versus the terrorist Ajin and that tells you what all 13 episodes will revolve around. There is a fair amount of action and combat while it progresses the whole Sato war threat scenario as foretold. There isn't anything revolutionary here but it fills that need for action well. I would say this season was more interesting than the first. To figure out if this season is for you, just think about the end of season 1 and if it... See full review
I was hooked and into the anime right away I had fnished the first episode and I was not dissapointed through the entire show. It has been very worth watching show. Overview - In term of reverse harem show, the show was well done; each character is completely different, yet, they seem to always(most of the times) have equal chance of winning over the girl. First I thought Nishina, the only lesbian , would be just side character and irrelavant and I was completely wrong. - The show is very comedic and got me lol,or occasionally lmao, a lot of times. The great part is the show's jokes aren't... See full review
Summer Wars looks like a decent story with good art/animation outside of the vr world but inside the tacky chibi-esque anime style is anything but good. Graphically the so called vr game to beat all vr games is about Nintendo original console or between that and the Super NES. It is a bit difficult to believe in the suspension of disbelief when the so called vr world looks so antiquated. One avatar is even Atari 2600 level of quality. The story is really not all that original either. It is a bit Tron-esque (ya well the end game plan was something comparablly catastrophic or... See full review
Blue Exorcist is finally back!! This story takes place after the group finds out that Rin is the son of Satan. For those of you who might be confused the ending of the first season was just a filler arc and didn't follow the manga. The first episode does a pretty good job of explaining this by showing a clip of where this story is continuing from. The animation is beautiful and much better than it was in the first season. The sound is good(still getting used to watching blue exorcist subbed), the song at the end was good, wasn't as great as In My World from the second half of season one. The... See full review
It had been awhile since the last time I saw this movie and I recently watched it again. The art alone is a solid selling point. The relative movement of the wind is exceptional and adds a great deal of flavor and realism to the already fantastic landscapes. The plot sometimes gets a bit muddled but overall stands pretty sound. The visual effects layered over the superb landscapes only bolsters the overall resounding effect. The sounds are higher than the average anime since there are many instances of attention to the minutest of details such as nature sounds or the ruffling... See full review
This is being given off of just the first episode and will be updated later; thusly, there might be some spoilers. So far this seems like ONE GIANT FILLER ARC that takes/TOOK place sometime AFTER the rampage episode in the forest but before the ending of the original anime. As such, expect a whole bunch of petty and stupid fighting among teammates as no one trusts or cares about Rin, and everyone is still relatively useless in a fight; but like every anime trop every, they will someone win without carrying over the strength into what was the ending of the first season because who knows why. This anime is for people who like calmer animes, like K-on, Hanayamata, or Love live.
This is about childhood friends, who once dreamed of being idols. As much as youd think this anime would end Cliche, it didnt. For an anime of the genres it was amazing and I suggest it if you need a break from psylogical and sad animes, or action ones. This anime even brought tears to my eyes at some point.

Okay this isnt a proper review because there is only one episode out but I felt I absolutely had to review/recommend this anime! STORY : Alright not much to say about the story being so early in but basically its a typical war/conflict between feuding countries. It takes place in Europe. And the main country that will have most of the main characters is the empire, its in the centre with 5 other empires in all other directions. The story followed a certain platoon with our main character, 2nd lieutenant Degurechaff Tanya. Tanya is an absolute badass despite being about 10 years old. Also this... See full review
You have a atypical shapeless blob teletubby type monster, a dispassionate human boy, and a passionate noisy girl. It is too short to really be considered a movie especially since it has essentially no ending. This is more like episode one of a series that never took off than a true standalone movie. It resembles Parasyte a bit too much but it is not as good. It shares a guy who is too aloof and dispassionate or gets that way and an shapeless alien blob that replaces a body part which it took. He is way non chalant about that happening. Even if he felt nothing, I find it... See full review
Started the show with high expectations, but I must say that I finished it feeling rather unsatisfied... At one point, I found the show rather interesting, but at some point it just all became pretty much a mess. Some things were just never explained, an example being the true nature of the two trees. What was their deal, seriously??? A couple of theories were thrown about but none of them were really examined in detail. So are they gods? Or aliens? Or weapons? What??? Just about anything could happen and while that pulled me in for a bit, after a while, it just feels random and illogical. And it was... See full review

This may officially be my new favorite anime of all times. Episodes 1-3 and the first 3/4 of 4 are pretty much a satire of western censorship, got it. The show relies on spoken jokes rather than sight gags, which is a new twist when it comes to animated shows. Then the ending of Episode 4 happens. And it happens in a big, bad, hilarious way that turns the entire series left. Then Episode 5 takes that left turn and adds about four more, the very first of which is a *WARNING FOR CARDIAC PATIENTS,* leaving us having done a 360 and *STILL* going left. It's a sick and twisted genius. From there, this is... See full review
So I stumbled onto this little treasure, and immediately wrote it off as another tits-n-ass filled laugher on par with 'Heaven's Lost Property' and 'Rosario + Vampire.' Oh, how wrong I was. First of all, this anime actually has a coherent plotline, not to mention several subplots revolving around the different characters' personal and physical growth. It's easy to lose track of that in the firestorm of full-frontal nudity that is "High School DxD" from the opening credit scene. I do kinda feel bad for Issei *just* a little bit. Here's a guy who lusts after damn near every girl he lays eyes... See full review
Hey there chaps! I'm not usually one to leave a review. But in this case I was so surprised by how well the whole story came together that I had to recommend anyone having doubts about this one to give it an honest try! I had begun this series expecting your typical action/violence/smooth shounen gratifying ending tropes. I also assumed the artistry would be kind of 3D-ish, which put me off quite a bit (having seen the poster). What brought me to click on the first episode was the promise of some good old BL vibes, and this particular element, though subtle and discreet, was delivered as promised in the... See full review
TL;DR: If you're interested in the anime, take a look at the game. Has some similarities to it, but is very bland and lacking. Having originally played the game Blade and Soul, I was very excited to hear that the game had an anime adaptation. I thought the anime would be great, just as the game was. However, I was wrong after finishing this bland anime. Story: BnS's main plot is certainly lacking, despite how simple it is. In BnS, we follow the adventures of Alka (the MC) as her master has been killed by Jinsoyun Jin Varrel and her comrades. The main problem is that the plot is... See full review
Fantastically Gory, Combat Driven, and Graphic.
The story doesn't really go anywhere, everyone is in an absolutely hopeless situation at all times, but they have to "keep fighting" for some reason. There's not even a glimmer of hope that they could ever actually win, even by the end of the last episode.
The situation is so dire that several times they wrote themselves into a corner and had to rescue the story with various ex-machinas.
No explanation of why any of this is happening, or why anything that happens in the show happens. It just... See full review

The reason I gave this a 10/10 overall is because there are exactly two ways to react to this anime, no in-betweens. One, you think it's stupid, shallow, pointless and you hate it. Most non-gamers fall into this category. Or two, you're a gamer and you realize each short highlights a different stereotype of the genre. Bikini armor? Go play the original 'Neverwinter Nights' and tell me that's not a thing. World of Warcraft was pretty good about keeping male and female armor similar in appearance, but look at the NPCs throughout the WoW universe. Just sayin'. The clincher was Episode 5. I won't post any... See full review

There is no such thing as a superior masterpiece than this. Wether this be in anime, manga, movies, gaming, books, comics,... I say this with complete seriousness. Within less than an hour M.D Geist manages to tell a story deeper and more meaningful than any fictional story ever. Complete with characters that are despite limited screen time perfectly fleshed out and fit in the narrative of the question that is at the center of it all. Most obviously this question is something the majority of people choose to ignore as it is the most uncomfortable question. There is no other story that I am aware of... See full review
An utterly watchable, wholly enjoyable, eminently forgettable show that relies almost exclusively on the assumption that you want to watch its heroine discover exactly how far arrogance and a pretty face can get you in anime. Which, coincidentally, seems to also be the aesthetic of the show itself: it looks great, assures you it’s good, and…that’s about it. There’s no great thematic thread or character exploration or insight. It’s just a cute girl finding out how far self-assured cuteness can take her. And if, for some unfathomable reason, you don’t like her (or... See full review
It was a decade ago, when Shakugan no Shana popularized battle harems by making them seem like an awesome new way of merging fighting shonen with harems. Everybody went on to copy its formula with slight variations, and the result was the saturation of the whole thing. Now nothing can make a battle harem seem like it stands out from the rest no matter what it does.
There was a time when calling something a deconstruction or subversion was enough to elevate a show at the top of its respective genre. But those times are now gone, since as it turns out anything can be a deconstruction if you... See full review

No spoilers!! STORY : Ok, let's jump into my favourite part of the show and most likely the best aspect of it in general. Basically it starts with the main character 'Casshern' waking up in this world that is literally on its last legs. He doesn't know who he is, what he is or why he is even alive. As he wanders he befriends one of the main support characters 'Ringo' a little robot girl. After saving her life by slaughtering a bunch of bandit robots. And so his journey to discover what's happened to the world, who he is and for what purpose was he created for? OK its a little dark and... See full review
Ok, so, first up, I m giving a review of VK and VK Guilty together. Anyway so i did enjoy the anime. The story was ok, i suppose. The sudden plot twist in VKG gave me a shock; i did NOT expect it. The animation's nice, n lots of characters r pretty hot. I just did not like the characters' personalities. Especially the main heroine, Yuki. She's way too useless! But from my experience of watching shoujo for 6 years now, I'd say she's pretty much like any other shoujo reverse harem heroine. I just hate how she's so indecisive between Kaname n Zero! Speaking generally, be open to the idea of disappointment, Eupho fans: this ain’t season one. Is it worse than season one? Collectively, probably not. Season one was similarly…empty, hiding most of its dullness (especially early on) behind its glorious visuals. But Eupho 1 knew how to sprinkle in those great character moments that kept you delighted to come back for more, where its follow-up season fails to manage that careful balancing act. It bunches its character moments—which is still (mostly) terrific—into only a couple of episodes near the start and near the end of the... See full review

This review (endorsement? promotion?) is spoiler free- it vaguely outlines the premise and general course of the plot of the show, but that's as spoilary as it gets. At first blush Ange Vierge shouldn't be a great show. It has many of the same faults that derail other lesser shows, faults that would usually cause me to drop a series after a few episodes. It's plot is simple, weak, and occasionally repetative, the worldbuilding is lacking, and there's even the vague technobabble that editors sometimes mistake as valid plot progression. Some of the cast exists for no good reason other than... See full review
