This anime could've actually been something if the main character wouldn't be your typical, boring, basic mc who for some reason is loved by every girl he talks to. The main character's personality either felt really forced or just bland throughout the first 4 episodes, after that I just stopped watching the series because of him. The girls were super cute tho and didn't feel bland like the mc, the series could've been so much more if the writer would've just taken out the mc. Wouldn't really recommend to anyone except if you're the type of loner who they make these type of shitty series for.

I've got to go against the grain here. I understand this is an incredibly popular series but personally, I don't see how it could be considered incredible let alone one of the all time greats. The story feels incredibly driven by coincidence. At 21 episodes in we don't even have an idea of who the emperor is, who the antagonist is, what Maomao wants in life (or anyone else), and the whole show just coasts along as a result. Honestly I didn't even relize season three was released till 7 episodes in. I discovered it when scrolling through my fyp on tik tok. Considering how popular Classroom of the Elite is/was I'm suprise it didn't get more attention. Personally, I like the first and second season better. Well, unfortunately this anime left me disappointed. It had a strong premise and foreshadowed some very interesting plot points. Yet it almost completely ignores the foreshadowed plot points and just doesn't live up to its potential. I assumed she would re-enter a comparatively primitive world (from a medical standpoint). Genuinely, I think this show became quickly the most disconnected thing from reality as it possibly could. Aoi, the character that was most likely supposed to be the heroine romanced character of the MC, quickly became a background character. This is in my opinion, a SNAFU rip off. This anime holds no appeal for what it seeks to be, people rate it and give it acclaim for what it's not. But all of the concepts and ideas that the anime explores are not new or original, this anime is essentially flavor of the month and will fall behind to be forgotten as it is not a true treasure of time, it is merely a novelty of the moment by contrast. There's no need to watch it outside of maintaining relevancy with what's currently popular.

A fantasy story with many excuses to show topless characters. Meh. The story is silly, and you can loose interest fast.

overall this was very underwhelming. i got frustrated with miyano a lot, because he was just so dense. how many straight guys exclusively read BL? i definitely would have preferred him to figure out his feelings earlier and for other drama to keep him and sasaki separated. at least then something would be happening!! if you like shounen-ai and belligerent slow burns then this is the anime for you, but if you like drama and excitement that isn't a bunch of lukewarm meet-cutes strung together by a very loose thread i'd skip this one. i definitely won't be reading the manga -_-

Spoiler free This anime made me appreciate fire fighters even more. It showed the strugles of wanting to help and needing to stay safe, having to risk one or the ether and the reality that even if you do everything you can, it can somethimes not be enough. As someone who saw the anime first, then skimmed the manhwa, I think the anime was great. It was engaging and interesting. I think it was well balanced and paced great. But in comparison to the manhwa, I think some parts were jumbled and changed, while others [from my memory] simply came out of no where. I love Konosuba's humor, I'll admit that my humor is pretty immature, so this is the kind of anime I tend to like Lol. However, with this spin-off, I found myself getting pretty bored. I think the main reason for this is just the fact that the anime only focuses on Megumin, so without the whole group there, I didn't enjoy it as much. Not to say this anime is bad at all, it's still pretty funny and I'm glad I watched it, but I just didn't enjoy it as much as I'd hoped to. This anime surprised me for sure.  I was just wanting to see something that I had not seen before, thus I went searching through the subbed anime which I normally do not watch (I do not like reading and missing out of the animations or having to pause the anime over and over to make sure I did not miss any of the dialog) and decided to watch this one.  I am thankful that I do watch the subbed anime once in awhile since I got to enjoy a gem like this.  The story is very good and deeper than most anime, the struggles the hero has to overcome are immense, they are primarily mental... This show is dangerously close to being too boring to finish and it's nearly done airing.

I would very much enjoy a second season, and thid, and fourth.

It was alright, but the show started losing its appeal after about half the season.

The characters, sound, and animation are fine the only problem I have is that its kind of boring. It wish it had more of a plot if that makes sense. 

This one has an OK story, but it's overall not really good quality and then they did that creepy thing that I wished was long wiped from anime in episode 11. Misogyny. One-sided sexualisation and objectification of female characters, non-consensual intimate touching (between women doesn't make that BS more acceptable AND no damn woman behaves like male creeps and touches boobs without consent, damn it!). The story has ended years ago like in 2019-2020, and now they are trying to create the manga and the anime based on the light novel. It's a step up from season two, but still not as good as season one. For me personally, it lost the excitement and sort of mystery kind of feeling season one had, but the animation did improve from season two, a bit. Not to say season three is bad, I'd describe it as decent. I liked season one pretty well, it was exciting and I liked the whole school concept and the different challenges. Although I do not gravitate towards such genres, it is easy to see why Frieren got to be loved by so many watchers. The fantasy genre had suffered for many years, since such anime were usually lackluster videogame adaptations that were just going over the events of the game with no care for pacing or character appeal. I've had the DVD boxset of this on my shelves for God knows how long and finally worked up the guts to watch it. And God (sorry) do I regret waiting so long since this is one of the most heartfelt anime shows I've seen in my life. Lmao I can't believe people think the plot is weak (y'all clearly didn't understand the movie) - it's not the tightest plotline but the themes of moving forward, the complexities of love and the importance of self-growth is so evident. 

If you're someone who dislikes detached, flat-affect, flat personality characters, you may not like it because that is the main character. Children Who Chase Lost Voices is from the same director who brought us The Garden of Lost Voices, Your Name and Weathering With You (I know he's produced other films, I'll get to them eventually). Here, he essentially took inspiration from Studio Ghibli. While this doesn't have QUITE the same emotional weight for me, you have to respect the guy's ambition. ERASED is a time-travel murder mystery where the main character Satoru Fujinuma has an ability known as "Rewind" that allows him to back in time and change history. He uses this by accident to go back to his childhood in 1988 and decides to try and save a young girl Kayo Hinazuki from being kidnapped and murdered. This OVA episode is cute and provides some interesting levity to the ending, while also hinting at the idea that one of the girls is going to end up being the 'winner' in this harem. As is the case with a lot of Light-Novel-adaptation plots, this show boasts a relatively unique and interesting premise that manages to capture interest in the first chapter, but then flounders with trying to resolve that premise. I will give it creidt where credit is due; it actually managed to resolve the mystery instead of aimlessly meandering like most other LN-adaptation plots, and it was actually moderately engaging beyond just the first episode. Don't sleep on this. I was incredibly moved and shed tears many times. Some things are cookie cutter but honestly this anime was a breath of fresh air I didn't know I needed. Plot was well paced and the outcomes felt rewarding. With the way it has ended it seems unlikely another season will air but if it does it would be a victory lap instead of a struggle.  Also slimes are justice!

Awful, absolutely awful. Honestly, I have no clue why this season was so bad after the first season was absolute GAS. It started off strange and super slow, making me only last 4 episodes. It was confusing from where they started the anime because it has nothing to do with season 1 at all, let alone a continuation of story. However the animation, sound, and characters were still good, no problems with that. Overall I don't recommend this anime at all after watching the first season.

the idea and topic is interesting (which is why I started watching this) but the animation is ATROCIOUS I don't think I've seen worse and it's hard to pay attention to anything else. The dialogue and story also suck :(  don't watch it, and don't waste a part of your life on this "anime".

A refreshingly different hero that mainly uses his interlect to rise. Unfortunately the story gets a bit too diffuse towards the end of the season. Nonetheless this is a good anime for everyone that like OP MCs that don't show off but act with intelligence and wisom. 

A complex yet simple story about freindship, adventure, discovery that is told excellently. A few times the pacing is a bit slow but this might be intentional and works once you accept it. It is filled with lots of likeable characters that get developed as the series progresses. Flashbacks are finally usuad to support the storytelling not to disturp it, thank you makers. The soundtrack is lovly underlying the way the story is told with a calm slower pace almost reflecting the MC's being. I am really looking forward to the adventures that wait in season 2. 

If you can stomache a clumsy and at times a bit shallow story but feel that some Ecchi can make up for it this might be a enjoyable anime for you. I watched the uncensored English version which also just hints most of the time. It could have been a bit more explicit for my taste if they bother to make a censored and an uncensored version. 

This is an anime that that could have been so much better if it had not been sliced, paced and released the way it was.
It has a good story, good characters and plesent animation, yet I have trouble actually finishing it. The reasons are that the episodes have been sliced up badly, barely anything happens in some of the episodes. This is made worse by slow pacing and unnecessary cliffhangers. Apothecary was an anime to look out for when it began airing, and I would have to say its lived up to its expectations. Being basically House MD combined with that of a historical Chinese court drama is such a delightful premise that someone like me who enjoys both was bound to enjoy.

I don't know why so many people disliked this show. To be fair, there were a few plot points which weren't fully explored/explained, but other than that it was cute and enjoyable. The Foolish Angel is a light-hearted romp which pokes fun at romantic cliches while also containing enough sweet moments to make you root for the main couple. If you're a rom com fan, I suggest checking it out. It may not be the best thing you've ever seen, but it is worth a watch.

The story didn't quite make sense to me; it was all over the place. The animation was quite good, but the Titans looked a bit weird sometimes. Wasn't a big deal though. I had no problem with the sounds whatsoever; they were good and very fitting. If I'm honest, I loved the characters, mostly the destroyers. Huge props to everyone involved. I really did enjoy this, the FL used all that she learned from her past 6 lives to better not herself but to bring forth a better future for everyone. This anime has a very unique and well built up world, having adopted a reverse isekai plot line. The MC has a lot of character development, and the fact that he struggles to become stronger makes him a very compelling character. Even with an animation style that may seem lacking, the fight scenes are still bery easy to follow and understand, and are still as gripping as any other.

The animation is amazing, really drew me in, but the plot is just so bad and dry. The world they've built has so much potential to be good, but the story just fails miserably. Mc's character development was a bit too fast that you don't even get to enjoy it, and after he becames so broken in pretty much the first episode, nothing happens.

Sigh Idk. If I was a bit younger and stupider I would've enjoyed this anime - maybe.  The classic evil villain who shows up every episode and kicks their butts and leaves them crying; and in the last episode, the villain is defeated by a special staff that this random old man had in his possession. Finally got around to watching this and in this case, that was a good thing. Because holy S**T is this one a ride and one I needed to experience right now. When it starts out, you'd be forgiven for thinking it'd be something cutesy and light-hearted and initially you'd be right. I don't really know why I disliked this so much. I liked the manga well enough, I was even looking forward to watching this anime. It's just something about the MC in the anime, maybe her voice, maybe her mannerisms, either way she was just so annoying! 

Anything that features cooking and food always attracts so this show was right up my alley. This anime is a very cosy and slow story about the daily life of a"typical villain" focusing on his days off. The contrast between his work/villain personnality and his days off personnaily is very funny and adorable to watch. There is no real story but still we learn a bit more about the characters every episode. Very chill, would recommand 100% for a nice and cosy late afternoon watch, by yourelf or with a friend.

If you like Garo as an anime, you're gonna like this movie. The movie has good animation, befitting the series. But, and this is a big but, the story is very forced and makes little sense. Literally not exaggerating with the ratings, I'm in love with the concept of "Alien Stage" and how every character is unique! This show is is alot. The storyline isn't the worst I've seen, but it's still over the top. It would definitely be more enjoyable without the EXCESSIVE amount of ecchi. It isn't original or anything, but it's pretty interesting to see what the idiots  main characters do in the worst possible scenarios. Again, it would definitely be rated higher without the crazy amount a sexual situations every other female near the Mc seems to end up in, but I would still watch the 2nd season as long as they don't drag out and CORRECTLY END the series. 

one of my favourite movies that I recently re-watched for the nostalgia. the animation really brought the characters to life and expressed their personalities beautifully. I remember watching this when I was just a kid so it was nice re-living my favourite scenes, though, I had more time to process the amazing animation and the deep bond of the two main characters. they both have a strong dynamic but end up relying on each other to get stronger. their both hot headed when it comes to being with each other but it's wholesome and makes me kind of jealous of their relationship 😭

This anime nails it in the art department. The animation and modern style across all 24 episodes are seriously impressive and what initially got me hooked. But, there's a bit of a rollercoaster when it comes to the story. On one hand, there's more progression than your typical harem anime, which is refreshing. Despite the fact that there are a few sequences in this show that genuinely made me feel a little uncomfortable overall, it wasn't A bad show in the slightest. This review contains spoilers. This anime had themes of growth, the complexities of love, learning to apprecaite change and the lack change, and lastly to cherish time.  The animation was stunning. There were a couple weird parts but I could explain it through the weirdness of time standing still, the characters maturing mentally and how that effects relationships.  I was a little let down at the ending. I was hoping for a wholesome family reunion but I'll just imagine that instead.

I love this series more than oxygen. 

( I'm going to talk about both seasons in this review ) Tokyo Ghoul was a great anime, however having read the manga, I can say that the animation kind of ruined everything. Ok, in itself it wasn't bad either, but especially for tokyo ghoul : re, I think the studio didn't know how to represent the gore side of the work. In termes of the story, even if it's not the most original I've read, it's still well constructed.

Welcome to Drool Master Mikoto San. Will feel really uncomfortable and weird at first but trust me, this is a great watch. From weird thoughts to all the romantic things without all the tryhard over acting (like the anime these days), this anime has it all Imo. And Mikoto is the best girl ngl. 

Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs, while sensual and not the most focused in terms of writing, is surprisingly entertaining with a good amount of characterization, some epic moments, and decent storytelling overall. I do appreciate that some of the fan service is done in a creative fashion, not a mean-spirited fashion. The animation is vibrant, stunning, and something I could watch all day, but I think it does have too much filler to shoehorn in fan service, but it doesn't ruin the series overall and I still enjoyed it. Now, this is where the series started to use more of the chapters of the manga and I do appreciate that, even though they could have adapted more. The animation is definitely an improvement and there is more continuity here, but unfortunately, this series didn't use enough of the chapters that have better plots and it does use more than a few bad chapters, and it never bothered refining any of the bad parts of the manga. This is I think where the series starts to go downhill, though not to point where I'd heavily pan it just yet.

The first series of OVA for this manga series is stiil decent I guess, but I felt like it could have picked better chapters and I do feel like it shouldn't have used the slightly more mean-spirited parts of the story. Still, I don't think this is where the series went downhill and it is mostly entertaining.

The first season of this manga series doesn't use many of the chapters and that could lead to confusion among people who read to manga, but at least it captures the spirit of the source material and it definitely has more than enough character and plot development to work as a whole. This first season actually does remind me of the shows I used to watch as a kid, only it's more risque, but it's still decent nonetheless.

What could have been told in 45 minutes or less was drawn out so much that it's a struggle to stay focused on the movie. I think the concept was good, along with the animation itself. But even daily life shows/movies have more get up and go to keep you watching. Only took me 4 different tries to actually finish it. It could have been good if it had been shorter. Less filler, and less repetition. 

Ok so i really like how this is a different type of weak to strong story because the MC dies and becomes an undead which is really cool and unique . I just really wanted more screen time of the MC as a skeleton or ghoul interacting with people in the labyrinth without being in a robe. I also wanted more screen time with the MC and the blonde girl he meets in the labyrinth, that kind of made me disappointed as we don't even see her with the MC after the first few episodes . This is the true beauty of romance! It shows the sadness and happiness of highschool romantic relationship. But this kind of romance is just too perfect to happen in the reality. So watch it as a unrealistic romance anime for enjoyment. And try not to cry too much while watching! Because some parts of the show is just too sad due to the drama. Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki is one of the dearest anime to me, being the first ever romance anime I watched when I really got into it. I watched the first season back in 2021 when it was airing and it was absolute peak. Now, the second season drops having me as hyped as ever. I was looking forward to seeing a fun high school delinquent story with a twist but instead I got Bucchigiri?!. Most of the characters are thoroughly unlikeable and the story is both bland and boring. You do get a few characters that provied comic relief but their gags become rather predictable. The story does pick up at episode 10 and stays that way until the final episode (12.) But there lies the real problem, the fact that the show could have been at least interesting and/or fun but we have to waid through nine far-below-par episodes to get there. Very disappointing.

I can't express how much I loved The Legend of Hei. The story is one that I wasn't expecting to see. It's something new and exciting, wholesome, and nostalgic. The character development is incredible, some of the best I've seen and with the music added, you can almost feel and experience the natural beauty of their world. The animation and sound is amazing as well, it's very clear and vibrant. Honestly, you can fall in love with a movie like this one. I watched the english dubbed version, which alined perfectly with the original voice acting, on Tubi (a free streaming site). 

it is like one punsh man x harry potter the characters are not writen deep i didn't read the manga so i only can talk about the anime but it is something you can watch on chill beacause you dont need somuche focuse to understand the flow of the story

Can't believe I'm saying this but this is the first Makoto Shinkai film that I found to be pretty meh. A romance between the two leads that feels forced and out of place (and leads to an inexplicable decision by Suzume at the very end), most other characters being totally forgettable, the eponymous worm entity looking like a literal d**k at one end..... You're better off sticking with Your Name and Weathering With You, those'll stay in your memory for way longer. Hope his next film's better.

This series has been one of my favorites of all the anime I have watched since I started to watch anime a number of years ago.  They did a wonderful job with this Sword Oratoria of linking it with the parent story of this series.  They used very little of the parent story, just enough to key you into the timeline while they follow the two MCs of this anime throughout the entire season.  This follows the Loki familia and Ais and Lefiya as the MCs of this season.  This continues the theme as does all the seasons of overcoming all odds, being self aware, striving to better oneself... So... this is a story of a story being greater than the sum of its parts. I get it; basically every plot point in this anime has been done before. I'm trying to tell you why it's different. The main character is aware of his schtick. Like, right off the bat. He knows that he wants to be 'cool' and makes all his overpowered plot decisions around that. It's hilarious. Unique. This is the only comedy anime I will recomend to non-anime people. When I first watched it I though it was dull. Done before. Eh. Get through the first few episodes like any good anime fan. Holy shit, I Laugh Out Loud for every fudging episode in all three seasons. I then read the manga. I laughed. I cried. I yearned. No one else has drawn out a courting like this and then consumated the relationship in a realistic fashion. Few of us have been there. Many of us wish we will get there one day. Just... Goddamn. You know when you watch a show, and you feel like it's wasting your time? Your mind wanders in the interim between dialogs and you know exactly what the characters are going to do. This is not that. Nothing happens in a hurry. And yet every second is a microcosm of information. The characters are near and dear come episode 2. And they only get closer. You never know what's going to happen, only that it will make you happier. We don't deserve Frieren. Please enjoy it as best you can.

Amazing? No. Worth the watch? Yes. You have to give the author credit for planning out a definitive ending where others would have appeased everyone. Watch it all again. You'll see it happen.

Great anime, best characters, animation might not be the top notch but is decent. The fillers are too much but worth the story.  If you have the time, please be patient and watch it. The story and the drama are great. It is not about tragedy but will make you cry qiute a few times and you will get exited a lot. Honestly has to be one of the best animes I have ever watched. Story is captivating and great characters. Also has great emotional moments. Wish it would go forever.

Studio Bones’ 2024 sci fi action show is an original anime for the studio and seems to tick a lot of boxes. If you like your sci fi to feature androids and space aliens, i.e., conventional, then this would look good. It even invokes the Asimov three laws of robotics for good measure. I started watching this on a whim but once I got atarted, I got hooked. I like the idea of how the MCs real world experience transitions to a advantage in the game. I feel like the story could have taken a better turn than what it did. I feel like MC as a character isn't the most interesting. In fact most of the characters feel pretty flat. this was a good surprise, I thought it was just some goofy isekai story but it's actually far from it. it's a nice fantasy story with really dark elements in it, the pacing is incredible and every episode just hooked me to the next one

This was our second attempt to watch Studio AIC Plus+’s 2009 school slice of life comedy as it can look a little silly. The temptation to drop it is always there. Studio Satelight’s 2019 fantasy adventure is so lamentably bad it looks like a kids cartoon from 1978. Seriously. Who greenlighted this nonsense at the studio? It is nothing short of a pile-up of completely unoriginal ideas rubbing shoulders with some cliches whilst a bunch of stereotypes chew the scenery. I loved the short sweet to the point of this anime. They didn't give any of the characters much depth but even with that its one of those anime that give you a happy feeling the whole time, mostly. The art style is beautiful! someone else said like lofi art and thats spot on! I totally recommend if you are looking for a short sweet anime that just makes you happy for everyone... mostly 

I'm here thanks to another user's review. It's really having MDZS elements and even an easter egg at the end that is VERY reminiscent of exactly that. Either way, the story is sth. else.

The characters are a classic mix but they fit well together and it's very funny how those two characters of two extremes are made to work together. Do brace for some tragedies, too, though. You might not expect them, taken how hilarious the show is. I did not see that one coming at that instance of the show. this one is a tough one, overall its not bad but how the show started out and how it ended feel like vastly different shows. the major issue is that once the credits roll it hits every typicall issue most animes have now, cliffhanger, the power of love, or friendship, outofplace/shoehorned characters that really dont serve any purpose and predictability. after the first couple episodes the expectations felt like ergoproxy meets irobot but quickly turned into powerrangers meets super kid friendly irobot, the tone change is almost immediate making the rest of the watch frustrating. not every show needs... Okey so I can't say I've seen the anime in a way to give a fair review, but like I must say this. I'm like 90% sure this is a fucking joke, because the heck was this even. Well I was hoping for something that was realistic about ice skating which I enjoy watching, but this just feminized men's ice skating and pushed a woke agenda instead of being realistic.  Yes, I know this is an anime, and it is not based on real life, but still this just went too far with pushing an unrealistic view point onto a sport.  How many gay Russian skaters have you heard of?  I mean they all marry beautiful woman and have kids... well in real life.  It is only very recently there has been any gay ice skaters so I wish this had been more realistic.  They could have made one...
