This is a poorly written hentai pretending to be an anime. After the creepy baby stuff in episode 6 I dropped it.

Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki is one of the dearest anime to me, being the first ever romance anime I watched when I really got into it. I watched the first season back in 2021 when it was airing and it was absolute peak. Now, the second season drops having me as hyped as ever. The episodes go on smoothly and they don't have you checking every two minutes how much it's got left. It's just a simple yet compelling story. Or so it was, until the very end.

While lacking substance, Solo Leveling's greatest strength is its fight scenes. Everything else feels very low in strength in comparison. With the main character just randomly becoming a completely different person, mixed with cool fight scenes, it makes for a decent action anime, but not much else aside from that. Starting out with what I like most, is honestly just the fight scenes. They're so colorful and well-animated that they're probably some of the best fight scenes I've watched. SOOOOO SLOW! Some episodes are great & get a lot done, then others take like 4 episodes for them to finish something. Feels like being in stop & go traffic. The pacing of this anime is ridiculous.

Just a cinematic MASTERPIECE. Overall my favorite anime for so many different reasons. The start of the anime had me hooked instantly and how the story played out was AMAZING. Zero Two is top 10 characters of all time for me because her role in the story is crucial to how good the anime was. The fighting scenes had me hype every time and the battles they fought were so good. This whole story enough to make a grown man cry fr.

Was an interesting start, but feels like it became a "mystery of the week" kind of plot, there is some mystery & she is asked to solve it. Sadly this style tends to have very little character growth & gets boring. As of episode 17 it feels like it has lost some of the fun & interestingness it had in the rear palace.

As the adaptation of the sequel series to this manga series, I cannot stop feeling sick from this. I am disgusted from how much this series has gone downhill from almost everything. This series goes too far with it's over-the-top fan service and amps up the mean-spirited anime tropes to the point of being even more unbearable. This anime holds no appeal for what it seeks to be, people rate it and give it acclaim for what it's not. But all of the concepts and ideas that the anime explores are not new or original, this anime is essentially flavor of the month and will fall behind to be forgotten as it is not a true treasure of time, it is merely a novelty of the moment by contrast. There's no need to watch it outside of maintaining relevancy with what's currently popular.

This one has an OK story, but it's overall not really good quality and then they did that creepy thing that I wished was long wiped from anime in episode 11. Misogyny. One-sided sexualisation and objectification of female characters, non-consensual intimate touching (between women doesn't make that BS more acceptable AND no damn woman behaves like male creeps and touches boobs without consent, damn it!). I saw alot of people hating on this one so even though I dont do reviews I felt like I had to back it up. Although I dislike that there are no male witches(warlocks) it's still a great anime. The story may be a bit confusing of who the boy actually is at first but they explained it pretty well. The art style and sounds were great just felt like they needed more bass. Although I do not gravitate towards such genres, it is easy to see why Frieren got to be loved by so many watchers. The fantasy genre had suffered for many years, since such anime were usually lackluster videogame adaptations that were just going over the events of the game with no care for pacing or character appeal. This series has been one of my favorites of all the anime I have watched since I started to watch anime a number of years ago.  They did a wonderful job with this Sword Oratoria of linking it with the parent story of this series.  They used very little of the parent story, just enough to key you into the timeline while they follow the two MCs of this anime throughout the entire season.  This follows the Loki familia and Ais and Lefiya as the MCs of this season.  This continues the theme as does all the seasons of overcoming all odds, being self aware, striving to better oneself... Studio Shaft’s 2014 adaptation of one of Nisio Isin’s Monogatari-universe light novels is pretty much like all the others. Dull and pretentious. (We recall having dropped one of the other anime after about five minutes.) The adaptations are baffling and very little actually happens. They focus is on the seemingly pointless and nonsensical dialogue between a small number of eccentric supernatural characters. I rarely make reviews but this series is insanely good, the transformation of the main character is reflected at perfection and the progression of the main story is reckless it never stops, the series was really not telegraphed you couldn't guess whats their next moves, this increases the thriller and mystery or even more making it impossible to not continue watching till the end, the last time I felt watching something like this was Hunter X Hunter the nostalgia chills have been awaken a bit.

Yep, the story plot isn't its strongest point. But it's a bit underrated due to the Ecchi content and religious lines. It follows the perspective of gamers, which I find interesting. I wanted to like this, but I don't think there were much effort put into the story direction. It still excels with its pretty artstyle and nice sound quality, but the story direction feels like it's a downgrade and I think that's just disappointing to see that this show haven't really improved. This anime could've actually been something if the main character wouldn't be your typical, boring, basic mc who for some reason is loved by every girl he talks to. The main character's personality either felt really forced or just bland throughout the first 4 episodes, after that I just stopped watching the series because of him. The opinions are split, and personally I think it is a cheaper version of the anime Overlord. But it still has some good humor here and there. If you ACTUALLY read that this anime may contain scene of sexual abuse you are prepared and aren't surprised by the one or two scenes. It is an adult anime that's for sure. It is also very slow progressing. But it is still worth a try. I enjoyed it after all and it's finished in one day if you need more Isekai-Themed animes.  Note: Elfes are cool.

AGHAGAHAGAHAG THERE SO CUTE AND PERFECT I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM WITH MY WHOLE HEART. I wish I was a skilled writer just to pour my heart and soul into writing a great reccomendation for tgcf, because I just know that anyone who reads tgcf will love it. Hua Cheng and Xie Lian are the defintion or closest example of true love. Absolutely everything about them is so perfect, and I've never felt incomplete since I first came across tgcf. I love them so much I could go on for years explaining how much they mean to me, I would even talk about them for 800 years if I had the time.

Let me begin by stating this; I don't write reviews, because i don't usually feel the urge to.  However I don't think this anime deserves the amount of hate that it's recieving in the reviews. Yes it is extremely violent, graphic, bloody and abusive and if you check the warnings on here it tells you that. Heck, the first half of the first episode tells you that with its content. If you're someone who dislikes detached, flat-affect, flat personality characters, you may not like it because that is the main character. So far, the plot seems to be all about the character development so liking the characters will be the main draw to it. The development is setting up to be her going from detached and apathetic to realizing that she does have relationships she values. Overall, I used to love this franchise, but I think I'm dropping it now. I really enjoyed the first season and the movie, but looking back, this may have been naivety. The way exposition was handled back then made it seem like anime exposition was finally solved by having this "show your hand" pact system, but I now realise that it's only highlighting the problem. It's not really a movie, it's more like a pilot episode for a series, it is really short even for animated film, I don't get it why didn't they just made part 1 and 2 one long movie? And that would be better move imo because not much really happens here, it's literally just first act of the whole movie, but it is actually a full movie. Don't sleep on this. I was incredibly moved and shed tears many times. Some things are cookie cutter but honestly this anime was a breath of fresh air I didn't know I needed. Plot was well paced and the outcomes felt rewarding. With the way it has ended it seems unlikely another season will air but if it does it would be a victory lap instead of a struggle.  Also slimes are justice!

That being that the 12 episodes are all actually connected and just make one long episode. Other than that it's a little bit of hot spring talk with a bunch of tits. Anything that features cooking and food always attracts so this show was right up my alley. Side note, the food they are preparing do not have the typical ingredients but all ingredient-adjacent to real life food for example, an insect type looking lobster is cooked as such, and another snake-headed chicken is roasted like a chicken.  One of the unique food items they did were the jewel bugs which they made kebabs/crispy on a stick type of food.  We had those mollusk type monsters turned ala oysters.  They all became very delicious.  As we go to each episode, I am looking forward... This is my favourite This is the first bl I've ever seen and it changed my life. It's very short but it has everything, it's so intense and delicate and sweet and perfect... The music makes it even more beautiful. It's a masterpiece and every time I see it I fall in love with it and his characters again and again. Well, unfortunately this anime left me disappointed. It had a strong premise and foreshadowed some very interesting plot points. Yet it almost completely ignores the foreshadowed plot points and just doesn't live up to its potential. I assumed she would re-enter a comparatively primitive world (from a medical standpoint). Studio Satelight’s 2019 fantasy adventure is so lamentably bad it looks like a kids cartoon from 1978. Seriously. Who greenlighted this nonsense at the studio? This is one of the best SHOWS I've ever watched. This is peak on another level. From the animation to the story down to the characters everything is perfect. The foreshadowing is AMAZING and on it is the epitome of Goated. I have already watched this multiple times and everything is still just that amazing.  This anime is HEAVILY UNDERATED and I 10000% recommend you watch this. Solo Leveling is one of the best anime from this winter season and one of the top action anime of all time. Story: While Solo Leveling might not have the strongest story narrative it does have a story about achieving goals. Sung Jinwoo is given a second chance at life and his ultimate goal is to become strong enough to get the Elixir of Life and cure his mother. So, this was my first ever anime, so i grew emotionally attached to it, but i tried to make an honest review. I forced myslef to watch it second time, but not like that i hate it, for me it was really, like really sad anime.

This is one of those animes without a single bad episode 👌! Watching this makes me want to try and continue the games I left off. The characters are all super likeable and the VA are amazing!! At first I thought the "secret" about the game was that the developers or the workers of the game company got sucked into the game but towards the end we'll see that its not that? I dont know whats the big secret of the SLF world and looking forward to seeing them unveil and discover everything.  Can't wait for the next episode!!

It was kind of nice and fun (though not great) until the creepy ecchi tropes started. And we've got minors here and main cast are all female and it's a damn slice-of-life so what the hell is wrong with those creators. It ruined she show for me and I dropped it. I'm sick of misogynistic stuff. And sometimes it's "bad enough" (bad women's anatomy and gear design) but then there's stuff like this that is just creepy and out of context.

Practically finished so it's safe to review now: Chained Soldier has an "interesting" concept - that of having the male protagonist (in this case, Yuuki Wakura) become slave to a female demon-hunting soldier corps. This is my own personal opinion, but for people who don't like a calm story with no critical conflict, this one is definitely not for you. Some people find this beautiful, and I agree, the character, personality, the internal conflicts, as well as the journey to find oneself is a great characterization, but the story is too bland, the conflict is just a calm man vs self with not much action. This isn't for me, so I'm rating it low, as they say, you can't please everyone, and I'm one of the people who isn't satisfied, but if you're fine with a calm story, then this one you might like.

Fairly cliche starting plot, made good by a) how autistic the main character is and b) how much she doesn't give a crap about the romance parts of the romance game. Some parts of the story feel like they were there because they felt they were needed to be - yumiella's girl friend, for instance, who adds very little to this season. Fun show! I am isekai trash so that does weigh into my opinion but this show was very enjoyable to watch. It's about somebody who's basically an SCP that can instantly kill people. He ends up in another world with his classmates and they are basically entered into kind of a death game in order to create powerful individuals known as Sages. The plot is a bit above average for this genre, the animation and soundtrack are average. But this show is very funny and personally I enjoyed watching it.

The story is getting deeper and deeper by the episode. The Animation has good rhythm. The sound is amazing. I love the closing and opening music. Characters are great, but the character build is slow which is a part of what makes this anime good, and what makes it so disappointing considering how little of the manga is being released in the anime by the end of season 1.

This was an interesting perspective for a romance anime.  I liked the idea of the overbearing MC who constantly went too far with his affection for Aika to finally give it up and behave himself.  As for the title of the realist... I found this movie very boring and I was just waiting for it to end somehow. The animation is good but the plot is garbage. The movie is geared toward children I think, very unrealistic and tries to exacerbate emotional scenes, which isn't always good. Ima be frank - the manhwa is great, probably even better! BUT... this is a very very good adaptation, puts previous adaptations of manhwa to shame... to be honest! I get why some people are not happy with the plot and also why a majority of people like it. As for the people who don't like the plot, it's a little all over the place but the stories are kinda meant to be this way and with little but notable details I suppose. So, you can watch it just for wasting your time or maybe to clear up your mind aafter watching something extremely dark like that chimera episode from Fullmetal Alchemist( fuck that dad, I would have fucking killed him if possible). As someone who enjoyed the manga (#2 in my books) and read the later half of the novel. I'm a bit dissapointed with the anime adaption. The anime seems to emphasize more on the fights and just drop some of the story for a faster pace. Quite a bit of the ambience/mood is dropped so the most impactful moments in the story are just glanced over and seem like everyday happenings. The animation is good and all but it just doesn't have the flair of the manga which is everything for a top quality story. It's really nice to see a shoujo getting such a good adaptation. Do I think the story is the most well-written? No. But is it done well? Certainly. The animes gives a light-hearted, sweet romance story between Yuki and Itsumoi. They have a healthy relationship, they both care about each other, it can be refreshing. Jujutsu Kaisen is in the same category for me as demon slayer, both very well carried by the animation. That's also why the overall score is 6.5/10 and not like 4/10. For me it did not save the show as I had to drop it. The only reason why I didn't give characters 1/10 but 2/10 is Sukuna as he was the only character I tried to watch it for. The first season of the anime made me curious and wanted to continue watching until the end of all the seasons. Unfortunately, the seasons that followed the first did not cause me the same enthusiasm. If you start to get bored at any point after season 1, I recommend that you don't push yourself and waste time continuing to watch. The ending is okay, but I got the feeling that they didn't know how to follow the anime at a good pace. The anime as a first season is fine, but after that season everything gets muddied, with some enjoyable moments but it's not worth watching until the end.

To be honest, I just didn't see the appeal. This anime uses some very overused concepts and doesn't even "re-master" them properly. While I did enjoy the anime, Tengoku Daimakyou in my opinion did things much better. This anime, conceptually appears to not only be unoriginal, but also rather flawed and unrealistic. What should be happening is these kids should be getting KILLED OFF. And yet conveniently nothing happens that actually ends them all. I've got to go against the grain here. I understand this is an incredibly popular series but personally, I don't see how it could be considered incredible let alone one of the all time greats. The story feels incredibly driven by coincidence. At 21 episodes in we don't even have an idea of who the emperor is, who the antagonist is, what Maomao wants in life (or anyone else), and the whole show just coasts along as a result. I really like it. It's so sweet, and light hearted. It's the humorous take on being reborn as a villainous without all the cringe from second hand embarrassment. ***SPOILERS*** The manga is SOOOOO much better. They skipped so much in the anime. Because of "other animes" I skipped waiting for the anime & went to the manga. But I can't see the anime matching the pace of the manga. As of chapter 68 of the manga he is cities away and fighting for his life against a dragon kin. No way they cover that distance in 3 episodes. Not to mention that the current episodes are like chapter 50 in the manga. They just did 2 epiosde of content that shouldn't come up for a long time.

Overall this was a solid anime, friendly for a beginner to watch to get into anime and leaves off in a pretty good place. The ending is satisfying enough that you're not begging for a season two, but good enough that you'd hope there is one if they decide to make one.  My only issue is how insanely over powered the main character. There's being kind and then there's being a doormat and when someone has left you to die twice its far past time to stop being a doormat. These characters make little sense in their reactions. Every female accepts the murderous violent tendencies of every male around them and demands no punishment or judgement.  It's infuriating.  Plays out like a self insert fanfic beyond that.  In the words of happy Gilmore  Dear sugar apple fairy tale,  Everyone in this room is now dumber for having watched it. One of the creepiest MC's I've ever come across, and I don't mean creepy as in scary, but creepy as in a character written by a pedrophile. The MC even though being a child, his thoughts are narrated by a middle age man, he thinks like an adult and acts like an adult yet spares no second thought making moves on literal 12 year olds, which includes groping and reaching for her panties while she is asleep (that's called rape btw). One of the greatest animes of all time. I can't quite thoroughly explain how much of an emotional rollercoaster I went through with this show. I genuinely feel like i just watched this child grow up before my very eyes. I was so excited for the anime and my heart sunk the more and more of the first episode i watch. It's completely soulless, I didn't laugh at a single joke. I'm so devastated that true fans of the manga didn't take on this project, or whoever did just didn't get it. It's ridicoulous that they tried to lean into the action aspects of this story, becasue it's not an action story its a gag.  To anyone that watched this anime and thought it was boring i STRONGLY ENCOURAGE you to go read the manga, words can't describe how much better it is.

It's one of the most highly recommended anime movies for a reason. It's lighthearted and exciting. The animation is the best I've ever seen. Fantasy and adventure with this much comfort can be hard to achieve. Top 3 of my favorites easily.

The story is heartwarming and sad at the same time. A girl who's a sacrifice and didn't get a choice at first, but when she decides to live for herself she watches Tokyo flood. She will probably feel guilty about choosing herself, but she made her decision. Her love was more important to her than if it rains or not. The animation is beautiful, and the story is another one of best romance animes. If you don't like it that's fine, but it was well written and deserves all the recognition it's getting.

Awful, absolutely awful. Honestly, I have no clue why this season was so bad after the first season was absolute GAS. It started off strange and super slow, making me only last 4 episodes. the idea and topic is interesting (which is why I started watching this) but the animation is ATROCIOUS I don't think I've seen worse and it's hard to pay attention to anything else. The dialogue and story also suck :(  don't watch it, and don't waste a part of your life on this "anime".

A refreshingly different hero that mainly uses his interlect to rise. Unfortunately the story gets a bit too diffuse towards the end of the season. Nonetheless this is a good anime for everyone that like OP MCs that don't show off but act with intelligence and wisom. 

A complex yet simple story about freindship, adventure, discovery that is told excellently. A few times the pacing is a bit slow but this might be intentional and works once you accept it. It is filled with lots of likeable characters that get developed as the series progresses. Flashbacks are finally usuad to support the storytelling not to disturp it, thank you makers. The soundtrack is lovly underlying the way the story is told with a calm slower pace almost reflecting the MC's being. I am really looking forward to the adventures that wait in season 2. 

If you can stomache a clumsy and at times a bit shallow story but feel that some Ecchi can make up for it this might be a enjoyable anime for you. I watched the uncensored English version which also just hints most of the time. It could have been a bit more explicit for my taste if they bother to make a censored and an uncensored version. 

This is an anime that that could have been so much better if it had not been sliced, paced and released the way it was.
It has a good story, good characters and plesent animation, yet I have trouble actually finishing it. The reasons are that the episodes have been sliced up badly, barely anything happens in some of the episodes. This is made worse by slow pacing and unnecessary cliffhangers. Apothecary was an anime to look out for when it began airing, and I would have to say its lived up to its expectations. Being basically House MD combined with that of a historical Chinese court drama is such a delightful premise that someone like me who enjoys both was bound to enjoy.

I don't know why so many people disliked this show. To be fair, there were a few plot points which weren't fully explored/explained, but other than that it was cute and enjoyable. The Foolish Angel is a light-hearted romp which pokes fun at romantic cliches while also containing enough sweet moments to make you root for the main couple. If you're a rom com fan, I suggest checking it out. It may not be the best thing you've ever seen, but it is worth a watch.

I stalled this anime cause' the story was very slow as a snail , I watched around 7-8 episodes of this and I was keenly waiting to watch how the story is going to take place . But in all the episodes there were only death , no progress at all , I was expecting the story go take turn the next episode but I was disappointed again and again and after 8 episodes (rounding off) I stalled the anime . Yet the story is a good start , and the ways deaths were happening was also mysterious . I would suggest you if you have patience then watch the anime .

Yeah this anime is superb , it has got scenes to make you laugh and sob at the same time , the child is very playful and cute , and the papas are the top to the mark . If you like spy X family you can watch this anime and vice versa , hope you give it a try

i loved every second of this show. every week this show has become the only thing i look forward to watching. all the little interactions between our favorite pair, the music, the animation, everything.. i noticed that some of the major developments in their relationship happen when it's sunset, when night (Ichikawa) meets day (Yamada).

[No direct spoilers, a reaction post, then review] Near the end, Rishe somehow makes a Japanese Shinto-themed device, even though her country's background is closer to Medieval Europe. This isn't an Isekai, so how did that happen? She then goes and names it the same way, which is to be expected at that point.

This is one of the most fast paced anime I have watched.  The story starts out with a bang and just keeps going to the very end.  The focus of this anime is the MC who is considered the weakest of the weak, but after a death defying experience he reawakens to the abilities to become the best if he works on his abilities and levels up.  The story is pretty straight forward and good, but what makes this anime stand out is all the action scenes, one after another, and not the cookie cutter type.  There is a lot of variety of what he does to level himself up, not just rinse and repeat. ... I'm truly enthralled with this story. This anime has grown well in the time it has been running. Watching the characters mature and age, while also becoming more epic on a grander scale is cathartic. I watched Bottle Fairy (2003, XEBEC ... and why the use of the singular when there were four fairies fluttering about?) for two basic reasons: 1) I wished to watch some anime that was turn of the century, pre-CGI, to enjoy some basic flat animation technique without the easy frills.  2) I have always an interest in the mahou shojo concept, particularly those flirting with the family friendly range.  The range from G to PG in the old ratings system. The story didn't quite make sense to me; it was all over the place. The animation was quite good, but the Titans looked a bit weird sometimes. Wasn't a big deal though. I had no problem with the sounds whatsoever; they were good and very fitting. If I'm honest, I loved the characters, mostly the destroyers. Huge props to everyone involved. Ignore the haters and keep up the good work. 💪 I'm hoping to see episode 13 or season 2 in the future. Very excited for it! I'll give it a solid 8/10.

I really did enjoy this, the FL used all that she learned from her past 6 lives to better not herself but to bring forth a better future for everyone. The only reason this is not a 5 is it's slow pacing, which is not that slow if you like analyzing details in the characters' mindsets, and the Deus Ex Machina ending.

This is a well done anime that follows the MC Frieren as she goes on a journey to understand humankind better while remembering her time with the hero's party on their 10 year adventure that leads to the defeat of the Demon King.  This anime spends a lot of time using flashbacks from Frieren's memories to link the past to the present in this anime.  The story is built very well so that you can understand all the characters perspectives at the same time spending a lot of time letting the viewer enjoy the interactions as they get to know each other and bond with each other over their journey. ... This anime has a very unique and well built up world, having adopted a reverse isekai plot line. The MC has a lot of character development, and the fact that he struggles to become stronger makes him a very compelling character. Even with an animation style that may seem lacking, the fight scenes are still bery easy to follow and understand, and are still as gripping as any other.

The animation is amazing, really drew me in, but the plot is just so bad and dry. The world they've built has so much potential to be good, but the story just fails miserably. Mc's character development was a bit too fast that you don't even get to enjoy it, and after he becames so broken in pretty much the first episode, nothing happens.

Sigh Idk. If I was a bit younger and stupider I would've enjoyed this anime - maybe.  The classic evil villain who shows up every episode and kicks their butts and leaves them crying; and in the last episode, the villain is defeated by a special staff that this random old man had in his possession. The only thing that was different but super annoying was that the villain was possessing their best-friend and older-brother. Finally got around to watching this and in this case, that was a good thing. Because holy S**T is this one a ride and one I needed to experience right now. When it starts out, you'd be forgiven for thinking it'd be something cutesy and light-hearted and initially you'd be right. But only a few episodes in do you realise that you're dead wrong and that this is one of the most dark, twisted and harrowing things you'll ever watch in your life.
