Loved the beginning, got my attention so quickly at 2nd episode that I didn't want to stop watching. It's amazing how far you can go by believeing yourself in anime, the characters were amazing. It was so similiar to skip beat just not as negative, it stayed positive the entire time.  Sadly there's only 4 episodes, so the highest score I could give it is 5/10  (Not very satisfied with the ending)

D.N.Angel

AnnaMichelle's avatar By on Jul 1, 2016

Love D.N. Angel! There's plenty of action and romance in D.N. Angel for those who love the action and romance drama. Story is about a kid with gene's of an dark angel whose a theif passed on from family member to family member. Pretty similar to yu-gi-oh turning into someone else. You'll definitely not regret watching and reading the manga of D.N. Angel!

Bokura ga Ita

AnnaMichelle's avatar By on Jul 1, 2016

Bokura ga Ita is a pretty great story about a girl falling for a guy, with a sad past interfering with their relationship at times. There's much romance in here especially in one of the episodes, It's a sad story and the ending may disappoint many after watching. The girl is very quiet, so you might have to turn the volume up a little while she talking. I'd recommend Bokura ga Ita to those that are mature. Not for those under 13

Chi is such an adorable cat. Very curious and loving, story about a cat's life as a protagonist! It's safe and clean for family and friends to watch together. Great for watching anytime, though there's a lot of episodes. Watching 108 episodes of Chi's Sweet Home: Atarashii Ouchi will be totally worth it!

Joker: Marginal City

This show is fun, not other way to put it.  We follow Rin our plucky young cop who has to try and catch a serial killer who isn't after his superiors gorgeous moustache. Enter sexually ambigious duo! We have the serial killer a manish android with no junk and a womanly voice and then we have Joker the ambigious in that she/he/it/they can turn into a male or female at whim. Story: Classic police style story, serial killer on the loose gotta go gettim Animation: Sadly it does show its age a bit (aside from the aviators, moustache and 90's tank tops) but it's still quite good looking. ... The Troubled Life of Miss Kotoura

veggiecat's avatar By on Jul 1, 2016

This is one of my favorite animes, and one of the very few that I've rewatched.  Your focus is on Kotoura, a psychic girl who hears others' thoughts as if they were spoken to her.  This leads to some incredibly tragic backstory that is revealed in the first episode and revisited occasionally.  When I say tragic, I mean absolutely heartwrenching, but after the first half of the first episode, you can toss your tissue box and sit back for a good comedy. Your other MC is Manabe, a hopeless, but kindhearted, pervert, who is in Kotoura's class and takes a liking to her.  He doesn't really... See full review

Battle Angel Alita

Zabuzaxtr's avatar By on Jul 1, 2016

I might look too cruel with these low scores especially on story and characters wise but hear me out first. I immediately ran and watched this anime adaptation after the original manga impressed me with a great story but what I found was a huge disappointment. First, the cons ; On manga version of Alita, Alita is actually called Alita since it is her name and you at least expect that it would be the same on the anime version. Bam nope! Now she is called Gally which is also used in the manga but in a total different way(not gonna spoil it though).Moving on to my second problem with this one; The awesome... See full review

Assassination Classroom TV 2nd Season

duchessliz's avatar By on Jul 1, 2016

Ansatsu Kyoushitsu is ... an odd series, I admit. A lot of people may take one look at this series and bypass it due to the odd bright yellow octopus like creature it showcases. But those people are missing out. This is actually a fabulous series and I'm incredibly glad I picked it up. Originally, I was one of those people. I saw Koro-sensei, read the summary, and flew away (metaphorically people, I can't actually fly. I'm not a bird. -_-"). However, boredom brought me back. Viva la boredom! xD The first season of this series was 22 glorious episodes that unfortunately ended with me feeling... See full review

Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress

kawaiihimesama's avatar By on Jul 1, 2016

This was a really enjoable anime with similar themes to AOT, so I would reccommend checking it out if you liked AOT. The only thing that let the story down was that it was a bit rushed. By episode 5, with the pacing of the anime I thought it would be a 24/25 eps anime. Unfortunately it wasn't, and so the last few episodes (10-12) were quite packed and subsequently rushed in terms of plot. That did leave the ending feeling a little anti-climatic, but still a really good watch. I also loved Bobi, he is a great character, as well as Kurusu.

The ending of th emovie made me cry a little. This story is a tragic-love story, but it differs from others because even though it's tragic, it makes you feel happy at some point in sadness.  The movie was short, yet it showed a beautiful love story. What I also like about this movie is how its a fiction/fantasy. Yokai are presented which makes me happy as well. In addition, the movie shows different views and opinions about two races (Humans and Yokai) which is great.  I give this movies a whole 10 and if you are someone who is bored and doesn't know what to watch, I recommend this movie for a... What is with all the faux animal ears? I was watching and paying close attention.  I do not see actual ears because there is no white fuzz inside them just a patch of conical shaped hair.  Or at the very least, they do not always appear as ears.  In episode 9, for example, I watched several miinutes during a slow calm period of the story and no sign of actual ears.  In fact, I do not think I see them move much if at all, which is also very unlike those kind of ears.  It is a bit overly atypical type of magical and/or neko animal ear type anime.  Nothing really stands out except... I love how the story started, caught my attention very quickly. Though I watched it once, I dropped watching the second time. It's not as enjoyable when the episodes are all 5 minutes long. Therefore, I'd rather watch it when i'm not lazy enough to click on to the next episode every 5 minutes. I'd recommend Bonjour Sweet Love Patisserie to those who aren't lazy (Which is pretty hard to find)

Psycho-Pass Movie

daisuke9's avatar By on Jun 30, 2016

This was a great movie. Enjoyed it from start to finish. So much so I watched it when it first released subbed and then when the English dub was added to it. Between them, the sub is better by half a point. Production IG is one of only a few production houses that makes sure the dub's of their creations are the same as the original or as close as possible. Changing the script is not allowed. It's well known among Anime fan's, anything they release is a cut above the rest. The list of house's that are a cut above has fallen by 1 now that Studio Ghilbi stopped making Anime. Also when I read comments saying IG... See full review

Expelled From Paradise

So, there are bunch of really long reviews here that criticize this anime because it was made by that urobutcher guy, and the NGE guy. Basically, those two went into making somehting that they don't normally do, so some of their fans are really butthurt about that. Ignore them. This anime is light and fun. Sure it has its downsides, but overall it leaves a good feeling the whole time. My favourite thing about this show is how they tell you nothing about it at first, and just do things, show you how stuff works as they are doing it and expect you to figure it out. Now, that sounds sketchy, but they... See full review

Kiznaiver

story: The story is great. It's about how this kizna system connects people by their wounds, and feelings. animation: Animation is great. Very nice. sound: sound is good for the most part. Really good opening song and ending song. The ending song is a great song for the end of an episode of this anime. The voices for the characters are good, but I think some of the female voices could have been better. characters: The characters are great. They all have different personalities that make the anime even better. The character design is the type you would expect from Trigger (which I enjoy a lot).

I am going to start by saying I refused to watch this show. The premise sounded interesting enough, but the way it was explained at first put me off. Didn't help that my friend that watched anime every hour of the day to the point he became "that anime snob/recommender" introduced my girlfriend to it. It is kind of a pride thing like "Sure (insert snobman name) you know best after all what I like in anime." *rolls eyes as he smiles smugly with his arms crossed*  I can't honestly remember what finally got me to watch it, but wow am I glad I did.  Below are the points for... Before I get started!: I would like to point out a few things, most importantly I do not post spoilers in my reviews, This anime is similar to anime such as Strike Witches and Girls und Panzer! If you do not like them you better go find something else. Story!:  I must admit im a very big fan of the story! However it will be hard to convey how good it is without spoilers, but I will try my best, The story of this anime starts out slow! and I am talking lucky star slow, (not quite slow I know), but not long into the first episode it will start to speed up and more and more things will become... Since the series got better in the second season I thought I'd give these little shows a try again and see if anything changed for the better, and it did, slightly. Story - 3/10 This time around, though still split into three one minute segments, the stories had a more consistent flow, not just one terrible joke repeated in basically the same way in each segment. There was an episode where they made a play based on their songs, reminisced about childhood memories, created their favorite meals and one where the girls replaced the characters in fables.  Animation - 1/10 Some how the... minoriakabe's avatar By on Jun 30, 2016

I like this anime so much because it's romantic and funny at the same time. I wouldn't say that it's funny like "Lovely Complex" because the characters are not that silly. There's more romance in it than comedy. What makes this anime funny is Sawako's innocence about love. She's quite dense, over-worries about everything and doesn't know much about romance. She also always try to reach other people's expectations about her... The problem is, their expectation about her is her being like a ghost... Kazehaya helps her to change this. He falls inlove with her and she falls inlove with him. He tries... See full review

Kodomo no omocha it's a great story anime and manga form. In anime form it is a bit like sailor moon not like sana is a magical girl but she is hyperactive i'm saying that like sailormoon they stick to the manga but also add plots like going to a new location getting bankrupt and other things. I loved the english sub of the anime the voice actors were great i was able to find all english sub  episodes on youtube but sadly all episodes of kodomo no omocha could already be taken down because of the fair use thing but as of 6/29/16 it's still up all of the episodes up to when they go to middle school... The Pet Girl of Sakurasou

Asteelyman13's avatar By on Jun 29, 2016

Hey, this is my review for The Pet Girl of Sakurasou. I loved this anime, and if you enjoy slice of life and school life anime, you will enjoy this. And I really don't want to leave the wrong impression on you. It's not a comedy, not really, and it's not an ecchi like some think it is, not really, I guess. It's more of a drama, but not one of those over-the-top exaggerated emotions dramas. It gets all of the emotions, and it moderates them. It puts them in the right place, at the right time, and that takes the show from being OK, to great. Emotions: The emotions of the show are emotions that can be... See full review

AnnaMichelle's avatar By on Jun 29, 2016

Personally, not a big fan of the animation but I love the story and songs! Though one thing I would say is that the story is a bit slow, not many events & some of them just take up the entire episode. But I love how there's a second season continuing the story for people to watch. There's much romance in Uta no Prince-Sama: Maji Love 1000%, it starts out slowly and lets people see how the characters slowy start to fall for the protagonist.  Overall at least 8.5/9 out of 10

So, I wasn't a huge fan of the movie, And i didn't want to get carried away with too many reviews of the same series, but I felt like the reviews I read for this movie were a touch too critical, so I decided to offer my own two cents.

STORY: The story for Dragon Ball: Curse of the Blood Rubies (which, according to the subbed version I watched should have actually been called, Curse of the Rich Stones) appears to be an amalgamation of the very first Arc (or the Pilaf Arc) of the original Dragon Ball series and the 3rd Arc (Red Ribbon Army Arc), roughly focusing on episodes... Shounen Maid is a Slice of Life / Comedy anime centered around a young boy who loses his mother and goes to live with the uncle he never knew ... and a rich uncle at that. Unfortunately, his mother passed away and Chihiro didn't have any family (or so he thought) so was prepared to take care of himself. Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet

ShannonApple's avatar By on Jun 29, 2016

Personal Opinion:
In part, this anime is a cliche "fish out of water” story, however, it does explore some deeper issues for anyone who cares to look beyond the surface. Gargantia is more slice of life, than a mech action, but one shouldn’t be too disappointed by that fact. It is a worthwhile coming of age story of a young man who is basically thrown into a primitive society with no choice but to fit in.

After being sucked into a worm hole, Ensign Ledo finds himself on Earth, the home planet of the human race, long abandoned and believed to be frozen and lifeless. In the space... See full review

At first episode I got very interested, but after watching the entire thing. Thing's weren't as expected, It's very upsetting to think there was much romance in here (because the romance was between a child and teenager). Not much of the story is as interesting as I thought, things were kind of repeating through out the anime. There wasn't anything that was very new, the plot of the story was upsetting knowing there wasn't much at the end. Overall I dropped trying to watch the second time, 5 out of 10. Wouldn't really be watching this again in the future though... Sadly.

This seems like a great anime to watch, but you'll easily get confused. Amnesia is amazing but it feels like you're one of the people watching, whose as well trying to following along with the protagonist view but can't. I've tried watching this many times over and over (4x) but seem to still be a confused about whats actually going on.  Though everything else is great the animation, sound, and characters. But overall, if the story is bad and pretty confusing, I don't think the overall score should be high. That's why I gave it overall 2.5 out of 10.

Oh my God, the animation in this movie is stunning. I have watched another of Makoto Shinkai's movies "5 Centimeters Per Second" and while the artwork was amazing, I felt that the story was lacking something. This one has amazing artwork and the story is captivating in it's own way.

The rain made this movie. Everything about that park was so soothing, so calming and just beautiful. Every detail is carefully drawn. I like how the characters such as ichigo, rukia and the others have strong comradeship. The development of each character though could have been better and honestly, i would have given 9.5 for this anime if orihime would not have been so irritating and pushing her one sided feelings too much in the open like that. I would recomend it to all ppl in this world now after reading bad revies from old fans of DB let me say this NOTHING IMPORTANT HAS CHANGED IN A BAD WAY every change like voices of the characters, animation style and sound are minor changes AND they are a GOOD CHANGE. I LOVE THE NEW animation style it looks more like 21st century  not like before 1990s the new voices at start are verry funny i thought taht they are mocking... See full review

I was born in 1996 soo let me say this: 1. long animes like this 700ep+ are the best(bleach naruto dragon ball and etc.) 2. the animation is not the most important thing for an anime this one has good animations but of course compared with some other animes its backing of a few steps. But when i think about this all long animes are keeping 1 animation stile with some minor improvements 3. no fillers OR if any they are good. I can talk a lot about this anime but too lasy to type. I WILL RECOMEND IT TO ALL PEOPLE - one doesn't simply have to be an anime fan boy to like this :)

Big Order

To be honest it was verry good anime till the middle like 5 or 6 ep. I started watching it verry hyped it was funny and the fighting was aweysome but then suddenly something went wrong i even concider to drop it out but i had a lot of free time so i gave it a chance and it didnt got better. Now dont get me wrong its overall a good anime. Nice animation, story i love all of the characters but something at least for me is missing i didnt got that sensation of "wanting to watch more and more" and to keep me hyped enough. But thats my opinion of course I recomend it to all anime fans but for a... See full review

Its a decent anime could be a lot better but for what it is and what it does its verry good. I would recomend it for a side anime. Like if you are watching 3 verry good animes which are long and you need to follow the story every ep. but you get tired after hours and you cant go on, this is perfect for you. It will be easy to follow, interesting, funny and it will make you want to watch your good animes once more for another long time without stoping.

So far all I can say is, "what the hell?"?  Is this perhaps, David Lynch's drug induced attempt at anime and that is why it makes absolutely no sense?  The anime/art style is pretty poor and only adds to the intense confusion.  I vaguely get that the main character was stabbed but even that is not exactly perfectly clear, at least not at first, and I had to replay it a few times to get that he was actually stabbed.  From the get go, nothing makes sense nor is anything explained in a way a story is supposed to do so.  If I had to guess, I would say he is dead and this is... This anime is a unique one, since the story dosen't really have a goal until later on in the series apart from some of the arcs, it is intended to be comedic but can go serious at times, and it pretty much parodies almost everything in Japan, (even their own show.), so if you're not very familar with what is trending in japan or the history of Japan, you might get confused by the jokes.

I have no words to express myself after watching all 6 parts on 1 go. The only thing i can say for sure is that its worth to watch this anime, I love the music the animation, the epicness, the charecters all of them sooo god like. Ill recomend this to all who love anime and still havent watched this.  I hope that they continue to make this or start series or make a manga something anything. I just want this to continue for ever :)

Golden Time

Golden time! Easily one of the best romance animes out there. It not only breaks out of most cliques set for it, but its extremly original.  First , story: The story can be unsettling at times, but it is all made up. Huge plus by the way becuase it actualy has a good and fulfilling ending. All ties are ended and every problem is solved Second , animation: The animation is not very special in this anime. It has a regular art style with a fair amount of character color diversity. Third , sound: OMG! This anime has sound comparable to guilty crown. Its absolutly amazing. Fourth , characters: THere are... See full review

Let's set some facts. I am not vegan or vegetarian. I like to eat meat, but I don't like to kill animals. Author of this anime is very strange because she is truly thinking that's it's the same thing. She brought some insane arguments such are: Dialogue about different farms (on poor farm cows are old but have not been killed and on other modern and expensive if cow broke its leg then it's doomed): "People love animals in different ways, they are care about them, isn't it a truly love?"
Simple answer is NO, because it's enough to use a parallel with slaves to reveal all the hypocrisy, the... See full review
