Anime is like an abusive girlfriend.

I don't watch or review as much anime as I used to. My passion for the medium has slowly dwindled. Damn near every anime seems to be the same and the lack of anime that aren't for kids or sexually frustrated people makes it tough since I like when anime tell adult stories rather than try to sell daki's and figures.

All my reviews and opinions are my own. If you disagree that's perfectly fine, our brains are all composed differently which is the beautiful part of being a human being. If you agree that is fine as well. I'm not here to justify nor demean your personal preferences or favorite anime. I'm just providing snarky reviews for my personal entertainment and hopefully your occasional entertainment as well.

Anytime you'd like to discuss anime, manga, or even movies hit me up with a comment. I'm down to conversate anytime.

Best Anime:
Big O
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex
Steins;Gate
Monogatari (take your pick)
Jojo
Black Lagoon
Shiki
Fate/Zero
Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom

Not Star Wars. Star Trek. :p

In that case, I'd definitely recommed Space Battleship Yamato 2199 (2012). It's a remake of an old Yamato, and last 4 episodes are not subbed yet (it has a weird way of airing). It's something like Star Wars, but imho, a lot better. Gorgeus animation with top notch quality and insanely entertaining sf stuff. Good war drama and goodness all around it. Getting into it is not problem because it really swallows you in only 1 episode. I'd definitely recommed it over Aot or bake at any time.

Heh, I'm currently skipping a year of college... and I'm out of work... so it's a whole year of time wasting for me. I guess I'll finially go for my language diplomas. But I know how much pain in the ass all that shit does... I found it impossible to work and study at the same time, so good luck with all that.

I didn't find much goodness from anime nowadays. The most recent anime I really liked (2012-13) were From The New World and JoJo's Bizarre Adventures (and Inferno Cop for being the most ridiculous thing ever).

I do follow every season... but that's mostly because I'm running out of anime to watch. I have maybe 20 more titles before I start watching Legend of Galactic Heroes, and after that I have yet to see anime that would impress me.

About Bake; when it all goes down to light, it's just a really well made waifu porn. It's not dumb, by all means. Characterization is where it's at, and there is some sort of depth in each charachter, but mostly in Hanekawa Tsubasa, who had the most masterful arc I've seen in a year or so. But that was in Monogatari Season 2 which is still airing. If to speak in general; I'd say that it has a depth of a puddle... but sometimes it leaves me amazed.

Even though AOT has its flaws, it's really fun to watch, if anything.

Np, man. I'm glad it was of service.

Been good lately?

Ah, I like Slayers as well. Heche the name Naga, which I took from Big-breasted big sister of Rina Inverse. :3

I'm currently watching The Big O and Zegapain. I'm 6 episodes in in both of them, and I really like what I'm seeing so far. And I'm also finishing SoulTaker, one of Shinbo's earlier works (Bake series and so on).
