Ratings Scale:
10-
This score will never be given to anything because nothing is perfect.
9-Masterful. Very few issues and maximum enjoyment.
8-Great. This is an anime that contains flaws but still manages to be entertaining.
7-Above Average. This is the score I tend to give most series. It has many flaws but is enjoyable in some way.
6-Average. It just...exists. Anime around here don't really exhibit any stand out qualities.
5-Meh. Meh is worse than average because it's an average where I don't care. Something completely stagnant.
4-Poor. This is an anime with very little to offer.
3-Bad.  Anime in the 3 range exhibit no redeeming qualities, though are sometimes so bad they're laughably good (School Days).
2-Terrible. An anime so bad it should be avoided at all costs.
1-Spawn of Satan. An anime that's as putrid and reprehensible as they come.

Aw, man. That's a shame. But good luck with life and school. I know how it is when life knocks on the door and demands all your attention, believe me on that. After all, anime is not the most important thing in the world, and there's always time for catching up. :3

Yeah, I'm following Watamote as well. The series sure plays close to home, and if you're able to find yourself in her shoes, then I'd definitely recommend Welcome to N.H.K or Onani Master Kurosawa (30 chapter manga), in case you ever find some time.

Hello.

Are you following any current season anime. If yes, care to share some thoughts and list your picks? :3

Well... it's possible, but very unlikely... even so, it makes some sense, but since they didn't give anything we could infer that from... ehh. When we overthink about something we can find deeper meaning in everything, absolutely everything. And since the show showed how sm- pretentious it can get at times... bleeh.

I'll agree with you and I understand the rating, but even so, Brave new World and 1984 did a way better job in terms of handling their settings, characters and overall presentation and point of their world. Then again, both of those two detailed the way the problems started, so in a way, they’re trying to give us solution by warning us what we absolutely shouldn’t do, and at the same time, showing us bizarrness of the world and new customs that we should avoid. It also showed how certain customs work and what they cause, so in a way that’s also a warning. Psycho-pass played very corky and didn’t reach that level.

But don’t get me wrong, I liked it as well.

Yes, I didn't really hate SAO (normally I'd just consider it as crap and move on), I hated the brain-dead audiance that hyped it to heavens throughout the whole run even if the flaws were painfully obvious and colossal. There are many examples of the same shit going on each season: each time when something that's not the part of the chain (harem, school life or comedy). If it's aimed on the wider mass it instantly gets into the spotlight no matter how shitty it may be. Companies today can litterally do just that, create something a bit different that the usual menu (they don't even have to make it worth it) and there's about 60% that it will get accepted, and if they aim for shounen-type fans it's definite.

While I didn't find Psycho-pass on the same level as GitS (it had some problems i couldn't overlook), the latter is quite popular and pretty much the cult-classic. Psycho-pass sales unfortunately did werry poorly, so there won't be any sexy back. GitS is getting a new movie... and I'm sceptical as hell... I mean, did you see how it will look and sound (major is a loli with girly voice. Pls)... that's not GitS I know.

I don't know what to think of anime industry these days. Everyone pretty much plays safe, and when they don't the sales turn out very bad. Thery don't have balls as older studios did like Gainax who never played by rules (the old staff of Gainax is gone), or Manglobe when they decided to do Ergo Proxy (which was superb and unique), etc, etc... point is, without risk there's a small chance we'll be getitng something great, which is quite sad. My hope lies with new Studio Trigger (a.k.a. ex-Gainax) which could flip some tables.

But there were some really good anime lately. Most recent anime that were good and really stood out in the crowd, imo, were: JoJo and From the New World. The rest wasn't on the same level... ok, arguably Attack on Titan... but that's another story.
