No prob.. Your review of Blood C is by far the best.. It was funny and completely dead on. Keep it up.
Yes, I'm completely serious about Akainu. Don't mistake World Government and the Marines. The Marines are the good guys here. Or do you not remember that Roger, the King of pirates, has been slaughtering whole cities just because someone insulted his friend. The Pirates just want the freedom to roam the seas and do whatever the hell they want. The Marines are there to protect the weaker, peace-loving bystanders.
His actions at Ohara weren't the best. But I clearly see it as for the sake of the world. You know, there COULD have been a guy that has escaped. Imagine he resurrects the Ancient Weapons and the whole world is thrown into chaos because they overlooked it. Wouldn't be cool. Not to mention those in the ship could take grudges, and then try to oppose the Marines. That's not good, either.
Coby was screaming around, just saved Luffy's ass, (Who Akainu believes to be an ultimate threat of the world, and he is goodamn right) and was crying around wasting his time... It doesn't matter if he is a Marine, he's going against him, preventing him from doing his job, so he may as well get the **** out of there.
See, I'm not with Akainu on the justice issue. I'm just able to look at the things from his point of view, and he isn't entirely wrong. He's a firm believer of Absolute Justice, and his ultimate aim in life is to turn pirates' lives into hells. And he's doing his job perfectly.
I also don't like how 80% of the internet bash him just because he killed Ace. Ace (and the whole WB crew) was looking for it. Ace stopped one step away from the escape, and literally suicided. Not by saving Luffy, by facing Akainu. And it's Akainu's job. As for the WB crew. They have 47 ships of insignificant weaklings. Whitebeard had about 6-7 rather strong guys on his crew. Whitebeard himself isn't as strong as he had used to be. You see, ALL the captains of WB faced against Akainu when he was chasing Luffy. ALL of them. Against one Admiral. And they were facing the entire Marine HQ forces, and Shichibukai. They were bound to lose. The guys'd have killed Ace much, much earlier had Luffy not interfered. And they still killed him. So yeah, WB crew was asking for kicking their ***es. :)
And yeah, I think Akainu's a wonderful character. Very complete, very badass, and I'm very interested in what has happened and will happen with him.
That sums it up, I think.
