Since there isn't a standard anime rating system, I would like to explain how do I do it.

First of all, I want to clarify that rating is really difficult for me. I know I can tell sh*t from gold, but that's about it.

Anything with less than 2.5* is, IMHO, a waste of time. I randomly rate series I don't like from 1* to 2* (I watched most of these series in my early years when I didn't know what I liked), but beware of 0.5* because those are the worst turds I've ever seen.

 What about the good stuff? More or less, this would be my ideal rating:

• 2.5 = "Fine". Interesting to watch, a.k.a. "meh".

• 3 = "Good". Above average and worth wathing.

• 3.5 = "Great". I enjoyed it a lot, I would recommend them.

• 4 = "Superb". This will be my future kids' TV, it has to be remembered.

• 4.5 = "Premium". The elite of my anime collection.

• 5 = "God. Oh, God". Hard to describe with simple words, they have a special meaning for me.

I try to stick to this, but I've caught myself rating poorly a good series just because I hate the main character or giving a good score to a crappy series because I just felt like it.
