I appreciate Attack on Titan for being something that felt fresh. The unique premise of titans nearly wiping out humanity captured my interest. The design of the grappling gear, dramatic presentation, grim atmosphere, gruesome deaths, and creepy titan mannerisms give it an unmistakable identity.
