I hadn't really watched anime since I was young, Sailor Moon, Pokemon, Dragonball Z. All the classics.
I had almost completely forgot about it until a few months ago, a friend introduced me to Death Note, and since then, I've been HOOKED =]

Anything that doesn't involve a self obsessed retard and writing in a notepad is considered an action scene.

I read the manga ages ago.

The Anime version is utterly terrible.

It's just not the kind of thing that belongs in an Anime.

Death Note?

I am not impressed.

Sorry for the late response! Well, you can still watch both series of FMA. But the thing is this, in the first series, they follow the manga and halfway they switch to something the studio made up themselves. It's not bad, but it's just less exciting as Brotherhood. In that series they show the first half of the first series, but then much faster, only in 10 episodes or so. And after that it just gets even more brilliant. <3 It's more dramatic and the style is also more true to the manga (I mean, the way it's drawn and stuff). So I would say, just go with Brotherhood, but if you want to watch both, that's okay too!
