Ever since the day I discovered Toonami I've enjoyed anime. There was something about stories portrayed with animation that seemed superior to live television to me. The medium allows for much more freedom for the artists to express what they intend to. There was also the fact that, as a seven year old male, Dragonball was the best thing ever to grace existence (at the time). High school, unfortunately, saw me discontinue watching anime starting the end of my sophomore year.

College, however, is where I've taken up anime as a hobby. I'm currently co-president of my university's anime club, and I have a solid group with which to watch shows. I've found many of the shows I've watched this way, and I'm still trying to find and enjoy as many as I can.

My star rating system is a little different than most people, and is 100% subjective (as it should be):

0: I don't give 0, someone spent some amount of effort and money (however little) into making the show, so suck it antelopes.

1: I derived very little enjoyment from the show and was struck as annoyed. Finishing the show was more a chore than enjoyable.

2: A little funny or badass here or there, but it was still mostly annoying.

3: A recommended watch on the sole condition you lower your expectations to the bottom. It made me laugh or go "ooooooo" but has blatant objective flaws.

4: Enjoyable on an aesthetic and possibly and philosophical level, a recommended watch overall.

5: What I feel is good, what people generally think is objectively good, and why haven't you watched this yet, at least to agree or disagree with the rest of us?

If I write reviews, I will try to be as objective as possible.
