Azumanga Daioh

Jan 2, 2012

Creativity, thy name is Azumanga Daioh. Making a newspaper-comic-esque Japanese manga into an anime is tough, but this show pulls it off. Boys shouldn't be afraid to admit they love a show full of girls; people who judge men for liking the show should see the show for themselves and see how much they'd like to judge then. Azumanga Daioh is recommended for most audiences (see "Objectionable Content" for more details).

STORY: 8/10

SOUND: 9/10

Some light innuendo, mild language, and slapstick violence. Basically nothing you can't see in a PG-rated movie. There is one character who makes suggestive comments to teenage girls that might push the limits a bit, but he'll probably fly over kids' heads.

Mature viewers: All ages

Normal viewers: 10+
