I'm a 27 year old mother of two from PA, USA. I began watching anime more as an adult than during childhood, though I did watch the standard 80s and 90s shows that were aired in the states such as Transformers, Voltron, Astroboy(I know this came out much earlier), etc.  I believe the first anime I watched was either Soul Eater or Elfen Lied (Elfen Lied is still one of my all time favorites). I also read so manga, though no where near as much as I would like to (Damn American Libraries)! I also enjoy Reading a variety of genres, both fiction and non-fiction. Some of my favorite authors include: Kurt Vonnegut, Tom Robbins, Irvine Welsh, Chuck Palahniuk, Anne Rice, Charlaine Harris, and George Orwell, among others. I have a Bachelor of Science in Alternative Medicine and plan to start working on my Master in Nutrition. I also enjoy reading and studying Occult and Esoteric Works.

I am always looking to find suggestions for new anime and manga to check out and also others to discuss the subject with :D
