Yuck - 20 hours is no good, especially if your pay is low. Hope you can find something better!
Ah, and the joys of driver's ed! Kinda funny, but my first instructor was...not so great...and I almost ended up getting in a big accident my first time out on the road. He had me very quickly cut across two lanes of traffic to get on the freeway, and I nearly clipped two cars in the process. XD
Fortunately driving catches on quick, though; you get used to it quickly. Problem for me is I don't really like doing it, as the southern Cali roads are full of maniacs/idiots who have no idea what they're doing. Not that I'm the best driver, but at least I try to be cautious. =P
And yeah, just enjoy your summer as best you can - it's your last one of high school, after all. Do something crazy like marathon 12 Kingdoms overnight (13 episodes and climbing, still haven't slept!) XD
I've actually been trying to watch it for over a year now - decided finally to just drop in after doing a sweep of my anime folder to clean it up (and burn stuff off ><.) Just wasn't my thing. I found some parts mildly amusing, but the non-stop bishonens-with-roses just bored me out of my mind. Not saying it's necessarily bad (girls liking the huge bishonen cast is not surprising ;p) but that I could never get into it personally. Plus, I'm not a fan of effeminated males (just as I'm not emmasculated females) so that was a bit of a turnoff too. =/
Your summer does sound a bit busy, but I can relate - last summer I took 8 units in 6 weeks (11 hours a day of classes! Yeow!) and the two before that 60-70 hr/week work weeks. XD Depends on where you work, though, too. And what are these projects you speak of?
No worries - I had finals this week as well. I figured as much. =)
Nothing much new with me. Its likely I found a summer job working for my dad (he's an alarm tech for San Diego PD) as a paperwork bot, and that should pay well. Kinda waiting on that for now. Going to have to shell out my San Diego State tuition fees soon, though, as well as start the process of moving into my own place and subsequently find a roommate. I'm not much of a socialite/partier, so no dorms for me. =P
