I'm a second-year student at a university somewhere studying journalism, but mainly I spend most of my time watching anime. I fell in love with anime a year ago, and since then, I have fully committed myself to a life filled with late nights and little sleep to insure that I cram in all the anime I want to watch.

Hello!  sothis is redesigning the anime-planet site, and plans to roll out an awesome new site design in July, we believe. The blog feature is not part of the new design, and it is going away.  More information about this here:  Announcement: the blog feature is being deprecated topic link.  (Be sure to check out the new site design when it goes live!)

The blog pages are going away, and will be gone when the site redesign goes live. Your blog here will be removed from the site.

So, if want to keep the information posted in your blog, you will need to copy this information someplace else on the site. If you have any questions how or where to do this, please feel free to get back to me, and I will try to assist.

Hello! Just leaving comments for folks who used to have twitter accounts linked to let you know about the new/much better version of the feature: http://www.anime-planet.com/forum/showthread.php?t=197818

We had to remove all previous twitter setups to activate the feature, so you may have noticed a 'lost twitter badge'. To re-set it up, just go to 'edit profile' and use the new 'sign in with twitter' button. Once you do, you can also opt-in (it's opt-out by default!) to automatically tweet when you do stuff on the site, like mark anime or add recommendations. If you just 'sign in' without opting in to any settings, it'll be just like before, and your feed will once again show on your profile homepage :)

Suki-tte Ii na yo is a bit slow paced and it definantly requires a specific mood to watch it. I hope you enjoy it when you find yourself in the mood~

Maid Sama's story does get better as it goes on passed the anime, but in a couple of the arcs it kinda falls flat because I think the artist lost interest, but still worth the read. Actually, the final story arc just started. So sad that it'll be ending soon, but it's had a decent run. It's adorable watching Misaki and Usui's relationship continue and there is a specific date that is one of my favorites~ I would give details, but I don't wanna spoil too much. I hope you get in the mood to read it soon! The hardest thing for a manga reading beginner is having to read the bubbles and panels in reverse order, but once you get the hang of it, it's a piece of cake.

I'm sure you'll be able to introduce me to some good anime I never got to looking at and I hope I can help you find anime you'll enjoy to expand your watched list with~

Hello and welcome to A-P!

It seems we have similar tastes in anime ^_^

I would like to recommend to you the anime Suki-tte Ii na yo.(Say "I love you.") It's a very sweet slice of life and romance story. The manga is much better in my opinion since it goes very in debth, but the anime is very good!

Also, if you are interested in attempting to read manga besides watching anime, you may like Dengeki Daisy, Beast Master, Absolute Boyfriend, High School Debut, and you should read Kaichou wa Maid-Sama's manga since it covers the anime as well as continues after it~
