Story: This was a very strange manga. The story is basically about a guy who gets tired of going to work everyday so he goes on a journey. This journey includes pirates, cannibals, murder, and all of this leads the main character, who is only trying to stave off the boredom of normal life, to question the state of the world and the people around him in each of the strange predicaments he finds himself in.
Art: The strange art fits the strange story but the character designs are mainly bland, some havig the same exact design, it was a very simplistic art style, but also unique.
Characters: There are only three characters that get any spotlight throughout the story, a tribe leader who explains th religion of his cannibalistic tribe. A girl who runs away from said tribe with the main character, and the selfish main character who is only there to continue an interesting adventure, even killing someone who was helping him, because he saw her as holding his adventure back from being as interesting as it could be. Then eating her, like the cannibals he scrutinized earlier in the story.
Overall: This is certainly not a waste of time, it is strange, gory, and incomprehensible at moments, but never dull. The selfishness of the main character and how the surrounding characters react to him give great examples of the dark side of the human condition, and unveils strange philosophical questions, whatever that is supposed to mean.
