Ranma 1/2

YOU MIGHT LIKE

Tenshi na Konamaiki

Being a teenage boy is not that easy, but being a boy's mind in a girl shape is far more difficult (Think of it you guys)! Both anime have very comical situations due to the ambiguity of the characters, and are nice to see.

Ai Yori Aoshi

YOU MIGHT LIKE

Kokoro Toshokan

Kokoro Library and Ai Yori Aoshi have in common that they are series in which nothing wrong happens. These two shows make people feel happy because they are full of feelings of happiness and love. If you're sad or depress, don't hesitate one second!

Ai Yori Aoshi

YOU MIGHT LIKE

Kare Kano

Love stories full of problems, these two series show us how difficult it is to go though teenage, but that in the end you can make it. Althought KareKano animation is more graphic than Ai Yori Aoshi, which has a perfect but more classic type of animation, both are worth seeing as they are really entertaining.

Azumanga Daioh

YOU MIGHT LIKE

Bottle Fairy

Azumanga Daioh and Bottle Fairy have many similarities especially in the lack of story, to begin with. Both anime can be seen in a wrong order or if you miss an episode, it's just about funny moments of life. Plus, the characters are the same standards (you can easily find similaritues between Sarara and Osaka!). Both series are really funny, and doesn't implied strong thinking (but you'll need to pause Bottle Fairy to understand some japanese puns!). On the other hand, when Bottle Fairy is about fairies who discover the human world, Azumanga is about high school life and relationships.

Bottle Fairy

Tiny Snow Fairy Sugar and Bottle Fairy are both (as the name of the serie reveale it) about fairies. They're both really cute series but when in Tiny Snow there are a few painful feelings implied (a few, don't be afraid) Bottle Fairy is mainly funny adecdotes about the human world seen from the little one, and doesn't have a story to follow.

Ai Yori Aoshi

YOU MIGHT LIKE

Love Hina

Both Love Hina and Ai Yori Aoshi have the same anime ground : A "Hinata", a boy and a bunch of girls. And the relationship story are similar, but Ai Yori Aoshi is less ecchi and the boy hero is less clumsy with girls. For people who have been bored of the famous "Naru Punch", Ai Yori is just perfect. A perfect end is missing though, but let's hope the second season (Ai Yori Aoshi ~Enishi~) will settle that for us.

Princess Tutu

YOU MIGHT LIKE

Da Capo

If you're not wondering why a dressed human-like cat is around in Da Capo you won't be suprised by Neko-Sensei, the cat who teach dance classes in Princess Tutu (and the same on the reverse). Both anime have weird points in normal looking anime (you know, school, relationship...), which makes you frown to undersand but add very funny parts to the story.

Cardcaptor Sakura

YOU MIGHT LIKE

Ultra Maniac

Both anime are about magic girls and their trouble to do magic without being known by non-magic people. Both imply relationship troubles, friendship and love, and both are really cute in the meaning there's no pain, no blood hardly a few tears (Basically, they're shoj├┤!). But if CCS is better done on the relationships (CLAMP work), Ultra Maniac has a lot of funny moments, and is shorter in episodes number.

Both Mantantei Loki - Ragnarok and Princess Tutu go deep in showing us ancient legends and mythology. They both require cultural knowledge about these (some fansubs teams have added very helpful explaination at the begining of the episodes), but even if you don't have you can be sure you will learn a lot with these two series. Learning and entertaining at the same time, a great mixture which is woth watching.

Ai Yori Aoshi

How to hide a love relationship from people around? These two anime answer the question quite differenly, but both answer are worth watching. Marmelade Boy and Ai Yori Aoshi both show us the problems of a hidden relationship, especially the fact that when you love someone you'd like to yell it to the entire world, but althought the fact that if a relationship is strong, it can go through everything.

Strong magical powers, a child who is the only one able to throw back monsters, that's what Matantei Loki and Card Captor Sakura are about. Animation graphisms are similar, althought you can feel in CCS Clamp's work. Card Captor Sakura is nicer in a way, as there's less evil power in it, but they both have action and comedy in it, in good proportions.
