Paranoia Star

I read this in to college on the bus.

it's offensive, tasteless and has no bounds. but, of course, it was going for that.

But it's tasteless without a point. if there was a semblence of a story, a reason, or even a recurring theme the author wanted to get across, i'd probably find this an alright read.

But no, it's simply horrid for the sake of being horrid. There are some strong moments in it, that alone could be quite shocking and effective, but admist the entire work of Paranoia Star, it looses any significance and blends into the mess that it is.

I've read similar manga styles involving very offensive, explicit scenes, but this one just lacks a purpose. Maybe if it had that, I would have enjoyed it more.
