I'm an 18-year-old self-proclaimed otaku living on the U.S. east coast. I spend a LOT of time watching anime and reading manga, even while juggling a schedule of High School Senior classes, sports like Track & Field and Basketball, and my job at iParty. I'm mostly into comedies, but if it's a pure comedy series I may find it dry and uninteresting. My favorite combo is comedy/romance, and if it's also a harem, then I'm sold. I've been known to enjoy /fighting shows, too, but once again, it can't be pure fighting (note the "/" in front). I absolutely hate drama series. I can't stand them. Other people will have other opinions, but drama series always give me a bad taste in my mouth. I also dislike any /romance series that involves sibling relationships, which will explain why I gave Da Capo such a low rating even though I made it all the way through (I kept hoping it WOULDN'T turn out the way it did, even till the end. Also, I'll only watch a series if it's subbed, because I'm one of the many who feel physically sick at hearing the horrible American English dubbings.

I also agree with you. Its better watching anime with english subtitles than some low quality english dubbings.
I agree, subtitles are so much better!
Konnichiwa!
Oh wow. This is the first time i came across an argument on this website, or conflict. But seriously? Out of nowhere? Some people ay.
I think youre absolutely right about romance series, personally im more into the dark side of anime, and am yet trying to discover more gore-y anime.
