my friends don't! only my best friends know that i'm an anime freak
i watch about 4 hours a day so serie's will be watched sooner cus i can't stand it to wait!!
i allways want to know how it ends!
my parent don't know i think cus i never talk about it allmost no one in holland watches anime :'( *cryyyy*
have you ever exeperienced that no one knows what you like cus you tink te'll laugh at you? i do!!!!

Hello fellow underground anime watcher! My old friends always made fun of me for watching anything/reading anything/drawing anything japanese related. They would always laugh at me and then tell all of my other friends too (very sad)
But then about 2 years ago, I left for college. & now i know TONS of people who have similar interests as me! So keep your head up & you'll find people you can watch anime with! :D

I started watching when it was sort of underground, and skate shops sold shirts with anime characters on them. nothing was licensed then, so it cost the shirt companies like Hook-ups nothing.
So everyone knew I watched and i got a lot of people into it. but this was like 93-95
I saw that after it got established over here there was a backlash of some who would give people a hard time. But by then I was older and did not care.

I never tell anyone I watch anime, unless I know they do as well. When I was in high school, a bunch of people knew and it wasn't always plesent for me. So, in university, I never mention it. Expecially to the japanese students, who would think I'm a complete nerd :p
I don't really make it a secret I'm an anime-fan, although I'm not exactly singing anime-lyrics wherever I go either, if you get what I mean.
Anyway, you'll probably have a much easier time finding fellow anime-watchers in a couple of years. Almost noone I knew was into it in "high school" (middelbare school), but in the past two years I've found a handful of fans close to me.
Just don't make it into some kind of secret side of yourself, you'll probably find some fans around you as time passes.
