I understand that musical tastes differ wildly, so you're allowed to think the music was good while I didn't. That said, I never said in my review that Samurai Champloo was a typical shounen. In fact, my main point was that it wasn't typical at all.
PS: Guilty Gear is awesome.

Not exactly. While anything above 8 gets a heavy recommendation, I still use 9s and 10s to pick out my absolute favorites.
