Lovely Complex

I think Peach Girl and Lovely Complex are good recommendations for each other because both have heavy drama and romance, crazy love triangles, are light and fun to watch, and take place in a high school setting.

Pretear

I think Fushigi Yugi and Pretear are very similar, minus the time travel element I suppose. Attractive boys protect a girl with undiscovered abilities, and there is a girl who is willing to rise to the occasion.

Fushigi Yugi and Harukanaru may very well be the same anime; it's hard to tell sometimes. The only thing missing from Harukanaru is a best friend battle I guess. Other than that, these anime are really similar. One girl is pulled down a well, the other into a book.

InuYasha

Both Inuyasha and Fushigi Yugi involve a girl who travels to a different place/time and is thrown into some crazy situation such as boys saving girls, drama, fighting, and romance. Although as a warning, if you are not a fan of romance anime I would say these aren't a good pick for you.

Midori Days

Midori Days has a more of romance-based plot than Yamato in my opinion, but it's funny and cute all the same. Both have the kind of animation I appreciate and a weird/uncomfortable circumstance that sets things in motion.

Fruits Basket

Yamato Nadeshiko Schichi Henge reminds me of Fruits Basket because of the animation and overall feeling. Both involve an average girl who is surrounded by a group of amazing (and bizarre) boys, and have comedy/romance elements. I had been searching for something to fill the Fruits Basket void and Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge totally pulled through. I'm sure it would work vice-versa as well!
