Haha, I just spent the last 2 days re-watching Fairy Tail. I can't seem to get enough of it. I love how all the characters are special and how they all have their own roles :D:D:D.
But I guess one of the bad things about Fairy Tail is that I don't really see the whole point of the anime. It's basically just story arcs one after another D:
However, that doesn't change the fact that the anime itself is awesome and that I'm a huge fan of Erza Scarlet and Gray Fullbuster ;)

Hahaha yeah I'm on episode 3, going to take my time with this one tbh. But you know its projected to be possibly quite long and is still ongoing so don't think its over just yet *Insert Smiley of Choice Here*
Yeah i would have to agree this is a very good "goes on forever and ever" series. The manga is like, up to 400 chapters? but the DELIVERY is very good. It's true that the arcs aren't that interconnected, but that's probably a fault that is endemic in long series.
I havent actually seen too many long running shows, just Bleach and FT, but i definitely would say FT is by FAR better than Bleach. Once you get into the arcs, FT really holds you (but sometimes loses me between the arcs, in those filler eps), unlike Bleach, which for me, didn't get my attention until the epic battles in the Arrancar arcs, which was finally when "shit got real" ^^
