Hey everybody! i am nick or l33tmomiji, i live down under in Australia and have always been a big anime fan. (if mainly pokemon when i was little)
My top 5 on here aren't necessarily my most favoiritest anime, most of them are just anime i have really enjoyed watching lately or just love. i'm not only an anime fan, i love just about everything to do with japan and a few years ago i was introduced to a magical thing called "manga" and what better way to introduce someone to this intimidating new reading style than with the best manga in the world? they called it: "Fruits basket!" and for about the first 1.5 years after emerging from my anime sized cage i was obsessed. note the momiji in l33tmomiji for those who have read or...watched fruits basket. i have since mellowed but am still in love with furuba. i read quite a bit of manga and if anyone knows a good series i should try please tell me!
oh! and with Japan! i want to move from Australia and either live in Kochi, or Animate in Akihabara :D
I love the Japanese culture*cough anime cough manga cough*, the music, am trying to learn the language *sweat drop* and I recently took up Aikido (a marshal art).
my favourite j-artists are: Malice Mizer, Dir en grey, hizaki grace project, Polysics, Utada Hikaru, Ayumi Hamasaki & Maximum The Hormone. if anyone elso know any good ones tell me k?
MY STATS
-- my weakness is probably.....my inability to say no to people,
--my hates are: american dubbing (please forgive me dub watchers if i rant at you), bad translations, bad fillers, disappointing anime endings (especially claymore) and those fake laughs they put over some comedy shows to make them seem funny. oh and you know how before episodes sometimes they have the opening song lyrics in a karaoke style, so the part of the word that is being sung will move or sparkle etc to show that is where it is up to? well when that is out of time...i ...it...graa! it pisses me off soo much!! *grits teeth*
--i wish i could: draw, play ddr, move, play video games, sing & speak japanese.
-- my strength..... eeto...watching... anime? heh, i wish. i even suck at that...i dont have any strong points
-- favourite food: hot curry, marshmallows, raspberry jam by the spoonful and lollipops
--Fears: spiders *shivers*, heights-ish, needles, homework, english teachers & bogans (if you know what a bogan is)
My ideal is to someday become a mangaka but i have hit a few snags:
1. i'm not japanese
2. i cant draw to save my life
3. im too lazy to practice and just end up watching anime
well...not sure what else to say about myself, hope this wasn't too long...or strange. anyway, to those who dont already know me please dont be too hard on me! :P and thanks :D
when watching Kuro shitsuji, though there are not many obvious specific reasons as to why it...

Yus, you do know me. I is Isobel :P
Thanx 4 ur comment i like u 2 :)
I'm lazy, will only watch the anime :D lol
If I had the discipline, I'd love to do a japanese sport :) So fasinating, and their way of thinking about it, I really respect that.. I'm watching History's Strongest Disciple :) It's a comedy martial arts anime, but the sports look really cool :P His masters are 1. Boxing(a Thai person) 2. Karate 3. a Chinese martial arts expert 4. Jujutsu(So awesome.. @.@) 5. a weapon specialist. Watch it, it's fun :P
But Aikido isn't only with the spear/polearm thingy? Hmm.. Still cool :D
I don't do any martial sport tho, my sport is climbing :D I train 2 hours every friday evening, tho I wish I trained monday or tuesday as well, because my body has this strange feeling on wednesdays and/or thursday. A strange tired feeling, but it's actually the opposite, your body feels the need to exert itself.. Something like that, I don't know how to explain it, I can't even in my own language lol..
But I think I would like to do either more training ( tho I climb for fun and to be with my friends, not to become a pro climber) or do another sport, maybe a fighting one, because I think of myself as a weak and vunerable person.. I was thinking about Kendo at first, but it's very explosive, and I don't like that very much.. (Kendo is the way samurai's trained their techniques to their clan, that I know for sure :D) Then I found more Japanese sports, including Aikido..Kyudo, Japanese archery interested me as well, because it's also quite calm, and it's all about the shooting and stances, not about hitting the target, but the closest dojo is too far for me.. So I looked for Archery(european I guess) clubs, and found some info about the bows and stuff.. pretty interesting but also quite pricy.. A good bow + equip ment is 600€+ , if you choose a longbow you can't get stuff like stabilizers, so it's authentic archery, but also 800€ maybe even 1000€+..
I don't know what sport I would like to do, my body isn't really flexible tho I wish otherwise obviously.. Also money is a kind of a problem, my parents don't have that much money to spare, and I don't have a job myself so I can't finance it myself either.. I'm thinking of getting a job next summer vacation tho :)
Maybe I should do Jujutsu, it looked so awesome in that anime :D You deal 1 blow, not to deal damage, but to break the person's stance, then you overthrow him because he lost his balance :D Or it was something close to it.. :P Lol, we'll see, first i should get my hands on some €, and no, I won't do anything criminal, I'd rather do it the legal way.. :P
PS. Fuck this text is LONG O.o
:D Awesome ^^ I'll look forward to tha l33tmomijimanga :D Still have to look Fruits Basket so dunno what momiji stands for so :) Aikido is that martial sport with spear like weapons right? I can't remember the name for the weapon.. Yes, I'm also obsessed by Japan :P So awesome, but many of those sports are very disciplined, and discipline is what I lack :P Aikido and other sports are all about mental, spiritual and physical balance and were methods to train techniques to a (example) samurai's clan, right? :)
Konnichiwa!
:O scary
