Yo,

I'm just someone with too much free time, I started watching Anime when I was around 16 years old and got hooked, I must have been watching a few 2-cour series a week if not more. I used to watch them even while in college after I had finished assignments. I've always been one to day dream and start thinking up a story in my head and Anime really inspired my imagination. Anime is easily my favourite medium for TV series and film now.

It's been a while now and I do not watch so much as I used to. I'm more likely to play a Visual Novel or read Manga, but I'm always keeping an eye on new airing series, nothing has really caught my eye for a little while now though.

I really enjoy playing Jrpgs, Persona4 Golden, Dark Souls1/2, Etrian Odyssey 4, Fire Emblem Awakening, Bravely Default and Dragons Dogma and some of the more recent games I have loved. I also enjoy the Monster hunter series as well as many classic jrpgs from the ps2/ps1 era.

I've played a lot of WoW in the past and may go back for the next exansion. Right now I am playing a lot of Dota2 and trying to get back in to FF14.

My Manga list is a work in progress, I've stalled on so many because the ones I always pick up are ongoing.

I can say that I usually never watch series that are not ongoing, thus my schedule is usually filled with ongoing series.  However, once in a while someone tells me about a series, and that usually gives me incentive to get it (which I actually get, since I hate streaming).  Casshern Sins was never a show that I was really interested in or that anyone told me about, and so since it's on Toonami, I might as well knock out two birds with one stone and watch a series I haven't watched before and also support Toonami in its "Give us ratings!" phase.  It being dubbed doesn't matter so much for me, since I hadn't seen it with original audio; but I am a sub>dub person. :3

This also goes hand-in-hand as to why I watch ongoing series.  It's easier for me to watch series on a scheduled basis (such as weekly), rather than watching series in one to a few sittings (unless, ofcourse the series just sucks you in).  I'm basically the complete opposite of Minai when it comes to viewing series. :p

And I see you're watching HxH(2011) and the original HxH; how's that going?

wow i didnt even realize casshern sins was a part of a franchise.  tbh im only watching it because its on toonami lol.  that does explain the retro animation, which is pretty cool.  but is "casshern sins" a stand-alone series from the other TV series and OVA, or do they have somewhat something to do with each other?

"I'm sorry but just because a series has perverted things in it doesn't make it ecchi and yes I know what the word means but the series itself isn't ecchi. I don't see why you would dislike a series for having a some perverted things in it, the series itself had an overall serious plot to it. There's a lot of very mature series with perverted things happening in them. it doesn't automaticaly make them ecchi. :P"

examples?

I am not. Think how direct and specific the Kare Kano characters were. Urabe is always mysterious and always makes no sense since her character is rewritten every two episodes. You never know anything about her because it's her character to be mysterious. Plus absolutely no progress whatsoever in their romance. Kare Kano is downright superior.
