Anime-Planet

It's my first day here on Anime-Planet!!

I also catalog my anime/manga list over at MyAnimeList.net under the username El_Taco, and decided to see if there are any other places I can keep up with my anime. A big part of why I came here was a lack of actual maintenence with MyAnimeList.net. I felt like most of the guys there were not really maintaining the site well enough (I'm mostly talking about a lack of maintaining the official API) and other stuff. It seems to me like the site has been left relatively void of any major improvements or progress. I needed something new, and thus I am here.

All in all, this is a nice site. It seems more lively and vibrant than the more minimalistic blue approach that MyAnimeList.net, however, even this site has traces of the minimalistic side. I like the way the site is organized, it's easy to navigate. Quite addmittedly though, I'm seeing things that are going to take some getting used to. For the time being, I'm going to continue maintaining both lists just because of some of those little things I haven't gotten used to. I like how the character likes are here on this site, but I'm going to go in and edit Tamaki Kousaka's character page before I do. She doesn't even have a picture up! So, I'll take it upon my hands to run experiments and trto get her page up cuz I like her character ^_^. Ah, and before I forget, there were only a couple of anime that didn't really transfer over. Though most of them were because they haven't aired yet and were merely announced (who else is looking forward to OreImo 2?). Blah~~~~.

I'll also probably be doing more maintaining this blog and plan to be more involved here than on MyAnimeList.net. Maybe you guys are more friendly.

So, yeah. Don't know when my next post will be (or if anybody is reading for that matter) but I'm enjoying this, and I'll definitely will be back.
