Imagining the ending is actually the easiest task (since the mood that manga is creating can tell us whether it will be happy or sad ending, in 90% of cases ). Imagining all the steps to get to that ending - ha, now that's the challenge.
I'm glad my anime list brought another soul to the greatness Spice and Wolf is. Objectively judging it's probably 8/10 anime. However I'm easily attracted to every show that can skillfully create a calm and charming mood. That makes my biased, fanboyish opinion raise the score to 10/10 ^^'
December is a cool month. Sadly there isn't much snow, but the so-called "christmas mood" is quite nice ( the long lines at the shopping malls probably will probably make me speak differently soon).
Haha, actually it sounds perfectly reasonable. I kind of understand that, since with the average titles I also stick to one medium ( only when title is worthy of rereading/rewatching I go for both manga and anime ). Sorry for misundertanding ^^'
Good luck with reading the mangas then. It theoretically should take less time than watching an anime, but in reality once you get absorbed in a good read time flies :] Btw - if you are going to read Beast Master, you might check Dengeki Daisy as well - it's by the same author, and feels very similar ( though unfortunately it's unfinished - a problem that's way too commmon with many good mangas).
yes...weird name, I'll just tell you it made me laugh, made me cry and I loved the art XD
Heh I can't understand what's so scary about reading the mang ^^ But to each their own I guess (though I have to warn you, you miss some wonderful stories that way, since many superb mangas aren't animated, and doesn't seem to be getting an anime any time soon).
And currently I'm watching only the newest episodes of ongoing anime I follow (that alone gives me around 10 eps/week including some quality stuff like FMA;Brotherhood and Kemono no Souja Erin :D). I plan to watch last season of Aria and Welcome to N.H.K. sometime soon, but got more caught up in reading than watching lately (and it's not like I can just spend all of my time on the entertaiment, lol ;] )
Itazura na Kiss, Toradora and Welcome to the NHK: good anime with
ending. About manga... due to your lack of self-control you should
start with short stories XD Beast Master, Absolute boyfriend, Akuma de
sourou, high school debut
(all finished) or Dengeki daisy, Hana to akuma, sukitte Iia na yo
(ongoing but with few volumes) might work :p
