Well, I think textbooks suck too, but my required reading this quarter remains light so I can fish around. Last quarter I had to read around sixty pages every day or so; the quarter before that I had to read around 100-150 pages. I don't have any creative writing or lit classes this quarter: French, Logic, and English studies (mostly phonetics). I'm pretty sure I've read The Things they Carried, but I'll look up your other recommendation. What classes are you taking this term?

Bwarg, now I must attempt to write because I keep putting it off.

Whoa, I was surprised to see I got a message on AP! ...and I'm a week late answering it, sorry. How's everything going? Did the holidays work out well? How about school?

Sounds like a lot of interesting books. My younger sister read Atlas Shrugged a year ago and she liked it--it's just so long. The Wheel of Time books are also long so I haven't dedicated the time to read them yet. Sometimes my brother's girlfriend has me read sections out loud; I usually read in a funny voice, which makes her angry. Lately I've just been reading some Hemingway books and textbooks.

I've heard the Sims are pretty fun, but once again, I've never experienced any of them. I might try to make fun of you, but I enjoy games like Harvest Moon and Rune Factory Frontier so I see how you could become addicted. Bwarg, I have a ton of PS2 games. I want to get rid of some but I'd rather keep for someone to borrow someday than sell them for 1-2 dollars a piece and Gamestop. Are you don't want to talk about the cloud? There has to be a silver lining somewhere. I like smash bros. too so just tell me if you want to play some matches sometime (I'm not too good though I try to have fun).

I like Pikachu with the goggles. My favorite was the pimp hat from melee.

I guess I'll just have to wait till 2011 for that scarf. The knit gauntlets sound awesome--and of course I'm anticipating their epic completion. I've been looking for something like that for a while, but I'm such a lazy shopper, and no one I know knits. My mom loves scrapbooking and geneology and it's always interesting to see her completed, visual journals. What kind of scrapbooking did you use to do?

Caving, to me, is exploring any kind of extended rock enclosure. I haven't seen Descent but it's probably pretty close, except with less violence and swearing. I like exploring any kind of cave that I'm not too fat to fit in. Most fish has too strong of smell and flavor (the small bones don't help either). Some fish like tuna and halibut I can eat as part of a dish though.

What kind of books and games are you interested in? Depending on what you like I might have some good recommendations. Later.

P.S. Merry Late Christmas
