Finished Ceres

**There may be SPOILERS below.**

Just watched the last episode of Ceres, Celestial Legend. I've got mixed feelings about the show overall, but holy moley am I a sucker for cheesey romantic nonsense. In my head, I made the show a lot better than it was... In my imagination, all characters were more developed and Aya wasn't such a wimp towards the end. Also.. major budget cut for the last five episodes or so! The episode with the singer who blew up the Mikage building was stationary for almost half of the show. Very grating - especially the close-ups of the singers face with the soundtrack still singing and the picture frozen with her mouth wide open. Lame.

I must say, I've got a thing for stoic redheads. But my redhead isn't stoic. He can be pretty chatty sometimes. Not usually via text message though... funny how certain technology doesn't really foster a well developed conversation. Especially when you're limited to 160 characters. Multi-page text messages = unwieldy.

I was a little disappointed with Toya's death. I'm a big cry-baby; I cry in everything. I mean, maybe it's because the link I clicked to watch the episode had the episode title in it ("Toya's Death") but, I mean, the rest of the show was pretty overly dramatic and a bit soggy at times, so I would have expected Toya's death to be more played up. I didn't even sniffle. And I like Toya.

On a side note, I can see my next door neighbor's television set which makes me feel weird because I wonder if they can see me... Hmm...

More side notes: a) wrist is still sprained. Sad face. b) I volunteered for six hours of community service tomorrow for my sorority. It didn't seem like that much time when I signed up, but now I'm realizing that I would much rather sleep in... Oh well. The money we raise (some of it anyway... some of it goes to other philanthropies/charities/causes/etc.) is going to benefit of blind babies. Seriously. c) I can't think of a c. I'm too tired. This week has been busy!
