Not really sure what to say.
Well, I'm a junior in high school. The school year's going kind of OK so far. Every Thursday is All Nighter Day due to me procrastinating. Math isn't going so well; I probably already have a C or worse, and unless I catch up on my AP US History reading, I can't see myself doing very well in that either. By the way, I have a C in APUSH, but supposedly it's normal to have a C around this time, and most grades will go up to As or Bs by the end of the semester. Photography is easily my favorite class. I love the casual atmosphere of it. Blah, but enough about school.
Well, I like seinen because it's usually more thought-provoking than other genres, I guess. I like slice of life because it's really just kind of that thing that you can sit back and relax to, a nice break from the more engaging stuff. It's also easy to relate to, I suppose. I like mecha because (I'll think of reasons later blah blah stuff to do with good animation blah).
I don't like shoujo in general because it's usually this over the top, cute, shiny, sparkly stuff. I am aware that there's shoujo stuff that doesn't follow that stereotype, though. I don't like shounen-ai because it's usually crap, and often ridiculously loaded with drama.
I like video games, and I would spend so much more time on them if my computer wasn't such a piece of hot, steaming crap. I'm pretty much limited to stuff with low system requirements. None of that demanding stuff. 1.6 Ghz CPU, 0.99 GB RAM, and an integrated graphics card designed with the specific intent of using less power make for fun times. I also play console games, mostly PS3, at least until my dad put it away because he thinks it'll help me do better in school, even though I only play on the weekends after I've finished homework. Before it was put away, I really enjoyed Battlefield: Bad Company, mostly because it's one of the only PS3 games I have (Motorstorm is the other). I liked Assault for its overall versatility. Demolitions is OK, I guess, but I don't use it that much because I'm not good with shotguns. Recon is pretty good, especially since I unlocked the cheapest sniper rifle in the game (hurr you can mash the trigger hurr). Specialist is easily my favorite, since I can get kills pretty quick due to Specialist weapons literally being based on spraying bullets as fast as possible. Also, C4 charges are pretty useful against tanks, if you're manly enough to run right up to them, that is. Support is good for racking up points really fast, since you can just dump First Aid Kits all over so wounded teammates will run over them. Ha, this paragraph is longer than all the other ones (combined?). Anyways, now that the PS3 is away, I turn to my Wii in times of need. I just play Brawl, usually against the computer since no one at home will play with me (D:) and online is really laggy. Even then, I don't play on the Wii that much at all.
Goals in life... Well, I used to want to do something related to video games, but now I'm not so sure, since I've begun to consider other jobs. For now, my goals are to just get through high school with mostly As, I guess. Also, get lots of money so I can buy a ton of figures and wall scrolls (and video games, too. I guess I'd also need a noncrappy computer to play them with, as well.). And plenty of DVDs and BDs so that the anime industry doesn't die a horrible, peer-sharing-induced death.
I'll add more or take stuff out as I see fit later.
