O-haaaai!

Anime ratings here are based solely on how much I've enjoyed one show or another, but sometimes nice visuals can add half of star or even one whole star even if the plot or characters lacked a bit in savour.

My favourite character is by far, Kamina from TTGL, and Heiwajima Shizuo follows him closely, as well as Holland Novak.  My favourite seiyuu is Shinichiro Miki. Other seiyuu's I worshiplike are Romi Park, Mamoru Miyano, Koichi Yamadera, Keiji Fujiwara, Katsuyuki Konishi, Daisuke Ono [he voiced Heiwajima Shizuo in a way I never thought it was humanly possible] and craploads of many others.

Mulling time is over, my friends. Please allow me to present you my top 5.

Top 5

1. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann

2. Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood

3. Cowboy Bebop

4. Towa no Quon

5. Eureka SeveN

Totally obsessed with:

Music: G.i.t.S., E7, Sakamichi no Apollon, Sousei no Aquarion, Cowboy Bebop

Artwork: Masamune Shirou, Range Murata, Kaori Yuki

Composer: Yoko Kanno

Director : Shinichiro Watanabe; Mamoru Oshii [y/y?]

Ongoing Anime : Eureka Seven AO

Last thing that made my jaw drop, roll on the floor, cry in despair and reach Nirvana, all in the same time: Towa no Quon

My advice to you, as a fellow anime fan? Never underestimate the power of older guys with glasses.

Yay perfect timing then. ^^

Looks like Summer Wars and Code Geass are on your want to watch list, but those are really good too.

That's one of the reasons why I like Kara no Kyoukai so much. Much like Ghost in the Shell, it has a very serious atmosphere, and attempts to ask some deep questions. However, unlike GITS, I think it does a much better job of balancing the dialogue with action, although at times it does get a little bit bogged down. It's fantasy (as opposed to science fiction) trappings and more easily associable main themes dealing with the nature of sin (as opposed to the nature of the human mind in relation to its physical body in GITS) make it an overall more digestible anime, while still satisfying one's desire for a show that makes one think in the process of enjoying a good story.

Wow, you really gave me a lot to consider! Thanks :)

Thought I'd give you some suggestions too: Jyu Oh SeiVexille, and Vandread. ^_^

Ohhhh I noticed from Puriful's page that you liked Blue Sub No. 6. Good memories of that from my toonami days. On the other hand, I feel like it's best to NOT ignore all the dialogue in GITS, since a good portion of the show is devoted to hard scifi philosophy discussions. :p

Thanks for the blog comment ^_^

They should make a whole arc just for Urahara. But the show is already over... so instead they should make a show starring him!! Haha!

Yeah, its a bummer that they didn't give more attention to the really interesting characters. And we didn't get to see a few people's Bankais. I don't know how far along you are, so I won't say more. lol xD

I see you like Sci fi. Got any good recs?
