OK, may I hate second seasons, please? They fail. Why do they always fail at second seasons, really?
First season was ok. A bit tragic (well it's Italy we're talking about), it shows the fragile universe of these girls who have no one to relate to except their Handlers. It's sad, it's beautiful at some parts, and you really get to know each girl and their relationship with their "Masters", so to call them. Beautiful music, and the feeling I got was close to Gungrave, but not that tragic. Even though it's with teenager girls way too in love with way too older guys, it has a serious feeling, with many action scenes, drama and honestly, I don't think I've ever a heard a song to fit the atmosphere of a series like this one (except Cowboy Bebop ^_- ). It's a good series, overall.
But they just simply killed everything with the second season. Just as I was admiring the first season's animation, season 2 comes and makes my eyes hurt. Pure shojo-style. *bleargh*
Then, the voice actors. Giuse loses his warm voice, turning into... something. Whatever that is. 'Etta...... she turns into this stalker, almost nympho girl. Wait, where did all that innocence go? Why do I get the impression she'd kill just to touch him? May I be horribly and utterly disgusted and freaked, please? Thank you.
Seems like the producers have lost that light before they landed, huh.
