There are a lot to list, but to get you started..

.hack/Twilight, .hack/Root, Air Master, Animatrix, Arc the Lad, Aria the Animation/Origination, Blood+, Death Note, Denno Coil, Elfen Lied, Full Moon wo Sagashite, Genshiken, Ghost Hound, Grave of the Fireflies, Hajime no Ippo, Hikaru no Go, Honey and Clover, Hunter x Hunter (All of them), Kimagure Orange Road, Millenium Actress, Rahxephon, School Rumble, Shion no Ou, Strawberry Panic, Toward the Terra, Tsubasa Chronicle

After quickly scanning over the titles, those kinda stood out.  A couple of them are rather insignificant (Arc the Lad, Aria, Rahxephon, others..)  and some of them you should definitely add back to your 'want to watch' list (Full Moon wo Sagashite, Hunter x Hunter, School Rumble, Tsubasa Chronicle, others..)

I don't think you can really judge an anime by it's description and/or screenshots alone.  But you've definitely narrowed it down a lot.  There are still probably a lot of anime in that list that I haven't seen that are really good, just have to watch them to find out.  :)

Well, you'll get there eventually.   Personally, I think it's best to take your time and enjoy each series to it's fullest - though, thats kind of hypocritical; coming from me.

Also, are seriously not going to watch all the titles in your 'won't watch' list?  There are a lot of good anime in there and it would be a waste not to watch them.  XD

Thanks for the comment, but I'm wondering...were we reading the same review?  One of my key points was highlighting that it was so atrociously produced that it wasn't a tragedy at all, and all its attempted drama came across as comically poor.  Keep in mind that I rated Myself; Yourself a 7.5, and the tragedy thematic is basically the same there.

As for the animation, it was awful.  Tons and tons of stills and the characters weren't properly proportioned at times (especially Hayami.)  I wouldn't even begin to compare it to the visual brilliance of Haibane Renmei, even if the styles are mildly similar.  Haibane was epic, H2O was epic fail. ;p
