My husband and I watch anime all the time.  I was the one who got him into it.  He first thought it sounded lame, but he finally came around.  I also got him into reading manga.  Now it's an interest that we both love.  I started an account on here so I can keep track of what I've watched and read.  The very first anime that I watched was Trigun.  It's the one that got me started and showed me my love for anime.  I think what I loved about it was that it reminded me of a western and my dad and me watched westerns all the time.  I love Vash!  I also noticed that when I watch anime, I tend to love the pervert.  My husband said it has brought the little pervert in me out.  So now I'm a pervert. ^_^ (But don't tell anyone) LOL!  My husband is now one too.  We are also on here to find new anime.  And maybe meet some people who like anime.  Not many people around here care for that "kid stuff"!  Man, I love living in a small town but I hate how some people are closed minded about something different.  Oh well, I guess I'm weird to some people.

Hello!  sothis is redesigning the anime-planet site, and plans to roll out an awesome new site design in July, we believe. The blog feature is not part of the new design, and it is going away.  More information about this here:  Announcement: the blog feature is being deprecated topic link.  (Be sure to check out the new site design when it goes live!)

The blog pages are going away, and will be gone when the site redesign goes live. Your blog here will be removed from the site.

So, if want to keep the information posted in your blog, you will need to copy this information someplace else on the site. If you have any questions how or where to do this, please feel free to get back to me, and I will try to assist.

Hello! Just leaving comments for folks who used to have twitter accounts linked to let you know about the new/much better version of the feature: http://www.anime-planet.com/forum/showthread.php?t=197818

We had to remove all previous twitter setups to activate the feature, so you may have noticed a 'lost twitter badge'. To re-set it up, just go to 'edit profile' and use the new 'sign in with twitter' button. Once you do, you can also opt-in (it's opt-out by default!) to automatically tweet when you do stuff on the site, like mark anime or add recommendations. If you just 'sign in' without opting in to any settings, it'll be just like before, and your feed will once again show on your profile homepage :)

Yeah I am thinking of getting Netflix since I will be going to university this summer. sounds better than paying for cable that I never watch in the first place.

I love how good of a writer Stephen King is. I haven't really read an entire book by him just some parts of some but anybody who doesn't like the Twilight series writer is awesome in my book. I do love all the movies base off his books. who is your favorite author? My favorite author is Michael Crichton. Favorite book by hime would be Prey.

Your welcome ~ Netflix is indeed loveable (currently I'm watching Baccano!, Claymore, and rewatching Trinity Blood on Netflix), I've heard of "Bag of Bones" by Stephen King but I've never read it (I think I might actually own it???) I think walking with friends does sound nice but I dont know if I ever will do it >.< (cause I'm lazy).  As for the Xenosaga game, unfortatley I havent played in awhile but with what I have played I thought it was pretty good (despite being an older game).  I'm a HUGE video gamer but none of my friends are, (I mostly play RPGs) and the way I see is it is that it feels like I'm playing an anime ^_^, anyway most people call me a nerd because how much I love video games ~
