My hobbies include watching anime, reading manga, studying, playing video games, and swimming to keep in shape. I'm also into other geeky stuff like Star Wars, Star Trek, cosplay, and fantasy novels.

I first began watching anime when I was very young. I have no idea how old I was or which show was my first. It was either Little Nemo, Samurai Pizza Cats, Maya the Bee, Hello Kitty/Keroppi, or My Neighbour Totoro. I probably started watching it between the ages of 3-5. I only learned about the 'anime' culture when I was in middle school, after picking up one of the original Shonen Jump magazines. Then the first subbed anime I watched was either Evangelion, Trigun, or Real Bout High School, in a small anime club later that year. My first manga was a french DBZ (or DB) volume.

I'm an active cosplayer, going to at least one convention and two cosplay events each year. I have around a dozen cosplays already. I've been to six anime conventions (Animaritime, Shimokon, Anime North), and I'm a staff member at one of these cons.

I'm currently a university student, undeclared major. However, I am working towards a minor in Japanese Studies. I'm vice president of my university's anime club, and co-president of the video game club.

Favorites:

My favorite manga are Tsubasa, Drama Con, One Piece, Shaman King, Naruto, Yu Yu Hakusho, Hikaru No Go, Slam Dunk, Rosario Vampire, and Petshop of Horrors.

My favorite video games are Zelda, Resident Evil, Mario, Prince of Persia, Sims, DDR, and Left 4 Dead. My consoles include gameboy, DS, Genesis, N64, Gamecube, PS2, Wii, and a new XBox 360.

My favorite comic book series are Wolverine Origins, Astonishing XMen, Ultimate XMen, Rogue mini-series, and Gambit mini-series.
