Greetings all, welcome to my profile, I have updated this once again.

Grew up with a love for science fiction and fantasy, which eventually led me to anime. I tend to prefer thought-provoking shows with dark and tragic elements. Shows with elements a bit left of centre or slightly odd tend to catch my attention.

A reason I got really into anime is the way some stories are told. Shows like Neon Genesis Evangelion have ambiguity which leaves it up to the viewer to decide certain things. In Ghost in the Shell, I enjoyed pondering the notion of identity and cyborgs. Are they human beings if parts of them are robotic? Are cyborgs human if they have a soul? So it's these things, combined with the joy of escaping reality that drew me into the world of anime.

That being said, I am also open-minded and don't mind romance and slice of shows on the odd occasion. I like to spend time researching shows I might like, hence why I'm on Anime-Planet. The recommendations aspect I find very helpful.

I rate a show purely on how much I enjoyed it.

Berserk manga is much better than the anime. The problem is that the anime leaves out lots of stuff. Some of it is important to understand what's going on later in the manga. So if you want to pick it up you'd have to start from the beginning again. (Well one good thing about mangas is that you can just click through the parts you already know.) Like the anime the manga starts with an anticipation but drags it on a lot more. So just read it and don't give up on it too fast. It will be worth it.

Lately school kept me busy and it's only getting worse. I had hardly time to edit and I'm already very slow to begin with. There will be more to come, I'll just to it at my own pace.

Had to drop in to say that basically, nice tastes in anime, probably about the most agreement about liked/hated characters I've seen outside my real life friends, nice tastes in music and AMVs and the covers are nice, too. So much good taste packed into one person. Kudos.

Glad you liked it. :) It's certainly a problem that the video has no point at all but changing that would be too much work. I want to move on. Though I like the idea to incorporate a type of pattern to it. Before I started working on this amv I had to chose between 3-4 different songs and I couldn't put in many ideas and scenes I actually wanted to. So I will definetly going to make a second amv with EoE one day and apply this idea.

Here is the v2 (actually I made this before I read your post) and I've decided that this will be the final version. There's this little text file on my desktop with over 10 ideas for amvs and several animes I have not yet an idea. :/

So thank you for your feedback. I really appreciate it. Like I mentioned before I'm glad to get the opinion of someone. Because you know you upload your stuff to sites like animemusicvideos or youtube but nobody ever gives you useful feedback.

Of course I know Engel. It's one of my favorite amvs.^^

Finally here are a few amvs for you to check out:

This is my second amv, so please don't expect too much. In fact it's probably pretty terrible. I have no idea because I've been working on it the whole time. :P

Just tell me your overall impression of the video and things you liked about it and disliked. I just want to know if this is any good at all. Of course, if you spot any errors or have any suggestions, feel free to tell me.

I choose this song because I liked the contrast to those rather disturbing scenes. Video looks horrible atm, the final version will a look better (or so I hope :/ ).

Now enough talk here's the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cAuS8LnSiJA

Oh and I rewatched Fukushu. You were right. It IS the best Claymore AMV. That song kicks ass and synch to the video is amazing.

ok, so first things first: I'm really really sorry I answer so late. I kinda overlooked your post. xD

I usually search for amvs on www.animemusicvideos.org/. Downloading there is a pain in the ass but the videos there have the best quality you can get. The channel you sent seems interesting. I will check it out once I feel more like watching amvs.

My current favorite is Beast Within. It's amazing how this was done with Mangascans only or maybe I like it because I love the manga so much...

Anyway, I'm about to finish my second amv and I could use some feedback. If you feel interested I will upload a beta version to YT. The anime is End of Evangelion.
