My sister is 14 years older than me and my brother is 10 years older then me, and both of them are into anime. I grew up always seeing video games or anime on the TV, so I guess you could say it's in my blood.  I think I grew up with the typical anime that all 90s kids had... SM, DB and DBZ, Slayers, Outlaw Star, etc. I think because of this, I have a great fondness for older anime and tend to prefer it by default. I really, really prefer hand-drawn anime.

While I love watching anime, I'm a reader by nature and have taken to manga more nowadays.  I've been out of the anime/manga scene for awhile and am trying to read and watch those that I just must see before I die.

My favorite anime ever is Now and Then, Here and There.  Sailor Moon gets an honorable mention, though, because I was so obsessed with it when I was kid.  I really thought I would turn into Sailor Jupiter when I hit 14.  I really did. (No, I'm actually not kidding.  I was actually convinced and I think maybe I suffered from Chunibyou!)

My favorite manga is Fruits Basket.  I feel like that manga basically defined my high school experience.

As I mentioned before, I've been out of the anime scene for awhile. Feel free to recommend me anything worthwhile! :)

Yeah, I loved Monster so much that when I saw it had an anime too I just had to look into it! I had always loved Studio Ghibli since I found it but never realized that there were series of anime that were just as awesome. I just got online and started looking around and saw some really interesting series so I picked up a little at a time and now here I am! :) I still don't know anyone in real life who likes anime and manga so I'm really glad I found this site to chat with others who do! I never knew this was such a popular thing all around the world, I must have been under a rock! ^^

Noblesse caught my eye when I saw all the good reviews about it, plus it had vampires! :D Yona was recommended by a friend on here and I'm loving it so far, I love anything to do with medieval times! Flying Witch is a cute series about a young girl who is learning to be a witch, she lives with relatives in the countryside. It is really funny, it's episodic, each chapter is like one episode of an anime so it doesn't continue on to the next chapter for the most part. I also saw that it has an anime too, so I'm gonna have to start watching it too!

Higurashi is really popular, again something I wasn't aware of,hehehe, I like it a lot so far. I hope SteinsGate lives up to all the hype, I'm pretty easy to entertain though so I think I will like it.

I like most genres, I guess the ones I tend to shy away from would be ecchi, yaoi, yuri, and hentai. I like horror, fantasy, slice of life, I give most anything a try. I love getting recommendations so if you like feel free to fix me up with some, I'll definitely check them out!

Every1 who is watching it gonna recommend you re:zero :) Im glad you like it so far and i can guarantee its gonna be even more fun hah :) Thats why i stopped watching it :/ Its because the waiting for next episode is killing me so im gonna wait for few more and them watch 5-6 straight ! Already saved 2 episodes haha :D Anyway started Kiznaiver which looks really promising :)

Oh really ?! Then no more english, lets talk in the easiest language in the world cuz we both speak it ! Haha. Dobrze ?

To świetnie :) Hmm so you are an english teacher. I bet all your student passed matura with great results ! I remember my eng lessons in high school before matura. Most of the time we were plaing cards, talking and doing bunch of stuff instead of learning, can you imagine that ? I wish i had proper teacher then...So please forgive me my rusty"kali eat, kali drink" eng haha :D

Hahahaha i couldnt find that small town haha just couldnt, theres nothing similar to that but close to Jelenia Gora is enough, i know where it is haha :D I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed your time here, indeed there are some beautiful places. Im really interested in your opinion about Krakow, it happened that im from here :)

So next message in polish ? haha ^^"

Have a wonderful day and even better weekend !

I have to say I do love being able to sit with them & talk about it. It is one of the few things we all like. (∩_∩)

Well after looking through your lists I would recommend Yona of the Dawn, Noragami, Assassination Classroom, Tokyo Ghoul, & Fairy Tail.

These are a few that I really enjoyed. Hopefully you will too. (。・ω・。)ノ♡

I have an account at Goodreads now and I love it already! I spent ages trying to set it up though, because as soon as I tried to remember any of the books I've read, I completely blanked! I'm still pretty sure I'm missing at least 70% of the books I've read! What's your name on Goodreads? And how would I find you as well? (Sorry, it takes me a while to get used to new sites) That's so awesome! The internet can be such a great thing ^^

Sounds like a really interesting job! I imagine the best kinds of jobs are ones that are hard work but fun!

Daughter of Smoke and Bone was the first book that got me out of 'teenage' books, although I'm not really sure why it wasn't in the teenage section anyway. I was so happy to discover when I bought the last book pretty much the day it came out that it had been signed by the author! A Certain Slant of Light looks interesting, I'll give it a try!
