Yes, I've always wanted to watch it, ever since I saw it on TV once a few years ago. It was absolutely off the wall wild and hilarious, but I haven't found any copies where I live and never worked up the interest to look around for it, but I just read an article that Funimation is finally ending production of the DVD's, so I've got to go find some somwhere before they're too hard to come by.

I thought Princess Tutu had an original and involving plot, but I can understand why you would dislike it. The story was repetitive due to the monster-of-the-week format. It's mostly loved for its amazing direction and well-played genre shift. That ending was so bittersweet it hurt.
With Honey and Clover, what really annoyed me was that it focuses half of its plot progression on a moeblob who can hardly speak and that the romance goes nowhere in the end. I liked Morita though and Takemoto's bike ride around Japan to find himself made me want to do the same ;_; The OST, like you mentioned, was really nice.
You know, I've been in need of a good shoujo to watch, so I'm going to pick up Kare Kano. Based on the synopsis and your recommendation, it seems like it would be a genuinely enjoyable series. The last shoujo I watched was Fushigi Yuugi, which made my brain melt.
I'm seriously loving Oofuri right now. I can easily see it becoming one of my favorite shows. Between the character interactions and the dynamic baseball games, it's becoming my favorite sports anime. The characters also exhibit an appropriate amount of homolust, unlike Prince of Tennis lol. Why haven't you watched S2 yet? You are exactly right in saying that the sports label is a curse. Before giving Major a try, I never would have believed I would like sports anime since I don't actively follow any sports nor do I particularly enjoy them. Sports anime, however, seems to have an abundance of amazing, often overlooked series. A shame, really.
I've only seen two episodes of Touch so far, but it seems like a very enjoyable series. Just to clarify, a 3 on my scale is average, a 3.5 is good, and a 4 is a must see. I'm giving Touch the tentative score of 3.5 until I finish it. By the way, Cross Game comes highly recommended. I ended up loving it. My only complaint is that he baseball parts were somewhat lacking. I've heard fans of Adachi's works say that Touch is the best of his manga, so it'll be interesting to see how Touch compares to CG and H2. Hajime no Ippo was difficult for me to get into. I'm going to have to finish it sometime. I also want to try out Over Drive and Giant Killing once I finish all the glorious baseball animu.
I did enjoy Eden of the East. The first half was really solid, but unfortunately the second half lost a bit of its credibility when the Johnny Hunter sprouted wings and flew away. The OP and ED were fantastic.
Yeah, have fun watching Texhnolye. The last 4 episodes will kill you.
You dropped the new Prince of Tennis? Is it bad? I hate PoT with a passion anyway but I thought about giving the new show a chance because I like Fuji. If it's worse than the original than forget it.
