I have been a huge nut for anime, ever since Sailor Moon back when I was 9. I think the thing that attracted me to it was it's depth of story telling and episodes per series. In America, the stories for cartoons are almost always aimed at children, so they aren't very mature. Most snime touch on adult topics and subjects without going overboard. You could even say anime is a total art form. A good balance of story, art, and intrigue.
I am not such a huge fan as to collect memorabilla, and after I finish a series, I more than likely won't revisit it. I will read the manga of any anime that doesn't satisfy my curiosity. The number one question that keeps me into a series is, "what happens next?"
