I'd be glad to help ^^
Well I think "Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence" movie has the best anime graphics ever. For an anime that was made in 2004, it still far surpasses todays animes in terms of graphics. It is the only anime I've seen with the graphics to be amazing throughout the whole time without any problem.
To me it was more like a work of art!
Most of Junji Ito's work don't have a *happy* or reassuring endings and they often let you decide what you think the ending should be. To me Gyo was more disturbing than Uzumaki but again that's why I like Junji Ito's works. I agree with you about Tomie, there's nothing impressive about the art and the story is always random about different Tomies.
Thanks :D I'm glad you liked liked my AMVs and my channel. I think you should give Karas a go. To me Karas has the 2nd best anime graphics I've ever seen with a great mix of 2D and 3D and nice soundtrack. The story wasn't mcuh though.
I've read the first volume of Ibitsu and it's really good. Gyo is great, the story is original and it's done by Junji Ito who is my favourite mangaka. The anime of Gyo is also going to be released tomorrow so you might want to check that as well.
Here's the Gyo trailer on my YT channel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=viRLyTUyF-Y&feature=plcp&context=C3086328UDOEgsToPDskLFib3M-Fh2gGxFN3avy-DC
The trailer is actually made for three animes, the one with fishes and the shark is Gyo.
Ah is that you? I started reading Deadman Wonderland based on your recommendation and so far it's been great, to be honest I think it's way better than the anime version without the *beeps* and blacked-out parts. I'm looking forward to reading Ibitsu now XD Thanks
ps: I'm gonna sneak around in your manga list to find more gems ^^
