I was drawn to this out of curiosity, having discovered the song by Hatsune Miku. Though I don't usually watch 50-minute single episode anime, I quite enjoyed the story and thought it managed quite well to fit a lot of content into the short time. I found the development of the girls' friendship touching to watch, even at the end. The double storylines confused me a bit (but maybe I'm just slow, haha).
