The episode ended with what seemed to me like a breather from the emotional episodes of the past few weeks. It still had its tearful moments, and made me wonder more about Poppo's personality and possible insecurities. He just really wants Menma to be at peace- and we haven't had an in-depth Poppo moment yet, besides his desperate plea to Menma in ep 5 and that he's cheerfully traveling the world a bit at a time. I enjoyed the scene with Jin-tan standing up for Anjou- it's still very anime-esque: the gossiping japanese classroom only has a handful of successful solutions, and he was able to pull one of them off (Refuge in Audacity).
I'll wait to watch Denpa on Saturday. For now, I'll think I'll work on some backlog.
