Well, my name is Kurt and I love anime ^_^. I first got into anime about 4 to 6 years ago (not excatly sure which), when Toonami would show Ronin Warriors, Dragon Ball Z, etc. Then I started trying to watch more and more, and I realised that it was very enjoyable.
I'm part of my college's anime club, and have also designed the website for them. I want to get my degree in web design. The only forseeable problem to that would be th region of the state that I live in. It's not exactly the best place to find a job like that.
I want to visit Ireland, Scotland, England, Japan, and travel to different places around Europe. I'd like to be able to see the world that's outside of the state and country that I live in.
My life is very mediocre and repetative. I have the same daily routine. Im either at work or school during the semester.
I find myself to be slightly funny (on occasion), and easy to get along with. I usually don't speak much when I meet new people, but after I get to know them, I speak a lot more.
I love music. Both playing and listening. Other than anime, it is one of my favorite things to do.
I love film/cinema. I really enjoy watching movies, and looking for director details. Such as lighting, camera movements, special effecs, etc. I also like movie trivia kind of stuff. Like how many Oscars a film has one. IMDB is my friend :p I'd actually like to direct a film of my own, but lack the monetary funds and general knowldge to do so.
I stumbled across this site by accident. I was on another forum and saw someone's signature and googled this place. It has helped me rediscover a lot of the anime's I used to watch when I was younger, and hepled me discover new ones I have never seen.
About "My Anime":
Some of the anime I have listed under "Want to watch" I have seen at least the first episode of them at our anime club meetings.
Some of the ones listed as "stalled" are listed as so because they were a) taken off the air, and I have yet to find them in stores. or b) I quit watching for a while and never picked it back up (not because I didn't like them, but for a few I missed a few episodes 'cause I forgot they were on and haven't picked them back up. Naruto and One Piece are great examples of that, I always forget that they are on, and miss them.)
I feel dumb for wanting to watch more anime then i've seen. I think that my "want to watch" list would be a lot lower if I had the monetary ability to buy more anime.
