I originally hated anime because of the series that were aired in TV when I was a girl (Candy Candy, Dragon Ball, the old chapters of Saint Seiya where the same things happened over and over and over..., and many years after Pokemon). What finally got me into anime was that someone told me about Evangelion's plot and I couldn't help it, I gave one last chance to anime. From that day I've been always searching new series to watch, although I have a very specific and strict taste in anime. In other words to describe myself, I don't like anime per se but I love (some) anime series because they have great plots, beautiful graphics, amazing music, a heavy psicological load, a wonderful direction and a unique view only found in anime. All these quallities make anime series more intelligent and deep than most of the crap we can watch on tv these days.
